It seems nothing has been done to improve the faults in the rooms. At this moment, the villas are overpriced. We had the same negative experiences as some other guests who had stayed here. Would recommend consider some other location. Get them fixed or they will rot in your hands! More

My wife and I stayed here during the second week of our honeymoon on Rarotonga and we were pleasantly suprised. It wasn't the villa itself that was special but the quiet location, the view and the lack of a TV that really made this a special place. That might sound funny but it really was a week of rest for... I had a deluxe beach front bungalow and it was so amazing. Stand up sitting at the balcony and had breakfast and beachview (white sandy beach I like it!!!) Tropical breakfast complimentary free. Very nice Rooms with outside shower, i love it. And they have all kitchenette. Very quiet and romantic hotel. More

From the pics and their description we decided it was top quality. How wrong we were! I had to rehang curtains the first night so they would close, I repaired the sliding door lock, a lot of the louvre windows didn't close properly, the gas hob in the kitchen needed matches to start, the tongue and groove floors were harboring... Amazing location - bungalows right on a quiet, sandy beach on the sunset side of the island. Snorkelling on beach was great - even saw an octopus! Would highly recommend for a quiet, romantic getaway with no kids around! Fantastic restaurants nearby - would recommend the Manuia resort nextdoor and the amazing Windjammer (must book in advance). Loved the outdoor... More

Good quiet place to stay, villas need updating, smelled like mildew, bed horribly uncomfy, but we never expected 5 star. Loved the outdoor shower! We still had great fun, everything you need is in walking distance, car/scooter hire just across road, you can use the next door resorts pool & they have a great restaurant & cheap cocktails! Great restaurants... More

We stayed for 2 weeks earlier last month and I was very impressed with the service and quality of the rooms. The villa was quite small but it was clean, with a nice bathroom and kitchen and comfy bed. The service was excellent, with regular hotel service every day from the main caretaker Ramon, including even the dishes being done... More

very good spot, but the sea if full of corals and safe swimming is quite difficult, especially at low tide. There are no beach umbrella, only shade under the trees and it is impossible to find this later on in the afternoon. The villas are neglected. We arrived with a curtain hanging of, sliding door to bathroom broken, no Air... More

It was our first visit to the cook Islands. So we were not too sure where to stay. We booked through Blue Holidays (Virgin Airlines) and took a chance on what they offered. I have to say we scored!! The place was quiet peaceful and seconds from the beach and lagoon. Great staff (Thanks Ramone) and great accomodation. I loved... More

We stayed at Raina Lagoon Villas (absolute beachfront) for 8 nights on our honeymoon May/June 2007. The view was perfect, and the beach was never crowded. The villas are very spacious; however, they definitely need some updating. The beds and linens need to be replaced as the comforter was very worn looking. The kitchen could be slightly better stocked, and... More
