Thank you for making our visit to Sicily so relaxing with your amazing hospitality. The location is really wonderful - it's like stepping in to another world of peace and tranquility literally right off the street. Ideally located to explore Etna in all directions, the breakfast is also truly memorable. Thanks also for guiding us in when we arrived so... More

I'm not in the habit of writing reviews, but the specialness of Borgopetra has proved the exception. The owners, Cristina and Toto are a charming, hospitable. knowledgeable couple and together with wonderful Marzia think of everything to make one's stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We loved our breakfasts - a real feast to the eye - including seasonal fruits... More

Thank you all! You were smart enough to choose the right season, which is very important. Between the last two weeks of May and the first two weeks of June you can have a wonderful time in Sicily (challenged by September/October), a pleasant summer with no excesses: not too hot and not many tourists around yet. The heat is starting... More

Hello and thank you! yours was a long stay and it is good to know you felt good and well cared for and that you enjoyed plenty of the territory’s opportunities and Borgopetra’s facilities and treats. As far as Mascalucia is concerned, well, the expansion of the old village, which was a delightful holiday resort until the 1970s, has not... More

I stayed in Oleander cottage and Christine and her team did everything they possibly could to make my time there relaxing and comfortable. I'd particularly recommend the breakfast - such a choice of local and home made delicacies. The whole building is extremely stylish and each part of Borgopetra remains private and quiet. I'd recommend a stay to anyone looking... More

Thanks, Ruth we are flattered! take local and seasonal ingredients - the volcano's constant activity, Sicilian spring, the last blood oranges, the best ricotta cheese of the year and Borgopetra in full sprint after the March reopening - and even a short stay can be an experience... Hope to see you again, Cristina More

We spent 5 nights at Borgopetra and didn't want to leave. We stayed in Orchard House and loved the place - it was very comfortable and we made a lot of use of the roof terrace for lunches bought from the local shops. The swimming pool area was lovely as were the wonderful Sicilian breakfasts. Nothing was too much trouble... More

Thank you, Sally. We are always glad to hear that guests feel comfortable in this old house and that our presence here helps foreigners to move with more confidence on this peculiar territory. Sicily is an amazing place, a "hyper-Italy" so to say, and things can be rather chaotic...We travelled a lot too (and still do, whenever possible) and we... More

This beautiful family house makes an exceptional place to spend a few days recharging your batteries and exploring Sicily. The staff are friendly, the villa beautiful and so restful. On our last morning we had to wait a while for a family member with the car to return to pick us up. Christina, the owner, came out to sit with... More

We have just come back from a 2 week trip in Sicily, where we travelled fairly extensively around the region. Our last five days were spent with friends, staying at Borgo Petra. After 10 days of travelling, staying there felt like coming home to a little piece of heaven. We took the Orchard house, which was absolutely perfect for 2... More

We have just returned from a blissful week in Sicily and Borgopetra. After a short time we felt we were in the company of friends rather tan guests. Chistina, Toto and Marzia (and Marco for one day ) made us feel like the center of their world. I cannot say enough good things. Breakfast was substantial and delicious often negating... More

Borgopetra exceeded the reviews. Staying there has helped us to understand what Sicily at its best is about. Generosity, history and feel for the terroir. A class act.
