We (My husband and I) just returned from our first trip to Aruba and first stay at the Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino. We had a fabulous vacation and enjoyed our stay quite a bit. There are some definite pros and cons to this resort. Let's start with the pros. Upon our arrival, we were welcomed by numerous people with... More

If I could give Aruba Marriott Stellaris Resort a thousand star rating I would. We bought a Costco package May 8 to celebrate our 50th anniversary. Check in was a breeze. The next day we took the De Palma tour of entire island. Enjoyed the tour very much. Our first 3 days were magnificent. The 4th floor garden room with... More

We stayed here in May 2012. The good part about this resort is it’s beautiful and it’s right on the beach... And the people who work here from the maids, concierge, bell boys, etc were all happy to help us. They have a huge lounge area in the lobby and it has a little café where you can get reasonably... Wow. A jewel of a resort. It looks like all the rooms have an ocean view based on the construction of the hotel. Mine did, looking out over the underwater-lit swimming pool and the palm trees to a crazy sunset. The pools are awesome and the beach is like a bathtub—no seaweed, shells or other unpleasant things allowed on the... More

The A/C never actually cools any of the inside other than the casino which is so smoke filled you feel you have black lung after 5 minutes. The pool scene is weird. People sitting there drinking warm Bud Lights at 9:00 a.m. is creepy. Ladies wearing tongas with so much cellulite it's freaky. The wonderful lady at the beach was... More

It's that time of the year for our annual visit and review of the Aruba Marriott Hotel. We stayed at the Marriott last year and thought it was great. Now, it's even better. They added an 'Adult Only' pool, which in my opinion is awesome. It is clean, quiet and very relaxing - plenty of chaises and towels are available.... More

We stayed here for one night after spending two weeks in the Marriott surf club with family. When we were here last year we were on the ground floor where the adult pool was being built. To go back and see that all finished was lovely and they certainly done a good job on it, it is lovely and peaceful.... More

Vacation Dates: [May 5 - May 12, 2012] My GF and I stayed at this Marriott property on the above dates. We had significant flight difficulties but none whatsoever with the hotel. The rooms were cleaned and maintained very well. The pool was lively with a good mix of young and old. The water was always perfect and cool enough... More

My husband and I stayed a week in Aruba in May for our honeymoon. I stayed at the Tradewinds (8th floor) and we have ZERO regrets. It was absolutely amazing!! From the service (private check-in) to the exceptional food and views, our stay there just perfect. There was nothing I would pick on. I've read a lot of reviews and... More
