We were truly pleased with all aspects of this facility. The staff was friendly. The property was constantly being cleaned. Security was great. The food was good and reasonable. The room was of good size and had the latest appliances and features. The property is just a short walk from major shopping and within a reasonable distance of some really... More

We stayed at the Marriott Aruba Surf Club from April 22nd to 29th. Overall, I liked it -- didn't love it; the reasons are as follows: My home resort is a 3-bedroom and this was an exchange. I was promised a 3-bedroom beach view. Well, you could see the beach -- only if you were the jolly green giant and... More

May 12-19 Wife and I have been numerous times to Aruba but first time at the Marriott property for a stay (we've frequented the Bkfst buffet at the Stellaris on previous trips). We used reward points for our stay ..and absolutely loved it. We were in the studio portion of a 2br lockoff unit. Perfect for 2 ..maybe a 3rd... More

Aruba is awesome in itself. The Marriott has 3 hotels right next to each other here. We picked the surf club because of the lazy river and all the activites esp for kids. We fed the iguana's at 10a, pool aerobic's for Mom at 11a. They also had zumba at 10a. The lazy river took up most of our day.... More

We are currently here at the Marriott Surf Club. On average it is an ok property. The pool area is nice. I have been getting up at 6:30 every morning to make sure our chair tags are out on the chairs. Much after 7:00 am and there are no available chairs. So that's not great and it is harder to... More

Very nice property. Room was adequate, we had ocean fronte which was very nice to see the sunset from our room. The pool area is too crowded with chairs too close to another and the chair tag system they have is very annoying. It should be first come first served. Not get up early tag your chairs and go back... More

We stayed here with family, the rooms were adequate/big, need a bit of updating but good enough. Gym was good and nice staff in there. Beds around the pool were tagged well before the pool was opened and people did not show up till 3 hours + later which was frustrating. Serenity pool was nice but noisy. Lazy river was... More

This was our 2nd time in Aruba-last time at the Ocean Club 7 years ago. We are Marriott owners elsewhere and did this on a trade. When you use Interval, dont expect any high floor rooms. They did get us our 2 bedroom overlooking greenery and the pool, and we were able to pick up WI FI in our room... More

We stayed at the property for a week and could not have been more pleased! After a small glitch checking-in; room was not ready and then after talking to a second agend a room 'appeared', the resort did not disappoint. Rooms seemed pretty standard for Marriott Vacation Club. We had a studio which had a mini-fridge and microwave in the... More

Very disappointed with our recent stay the the Surf Club. Property is designated a Marriott category 7 due to location, but rooms, service, and facility are more in keeping with a category 4 property. Room was extremely small for 4 people: queen bed, flimsy sofa bed, cheesy table and 2 chairs, old-style television, low end linens...looked like a Holiday Inn.... More
