This hotel has wonderful history, architecture, and location, but the service was not good. The reception staff was not friendly upon our arrival (we were tired after a 12 hour trip!) and seemed to resent questions. This is a busy hotel and I wonder where the money is going that is generated by all the guests. Although the bed was... More

At the same time we proceed to the hotel renovation, about to finish, we keep going training and preparing our staff in order to improve our quality standards of all our services. In that way, we hope to reach the expectations of all our guests with the well knowed Caribbean Hospitality. The hotel is located right in the life down... More

We had a number of days at the Sevilla in April. The hotel is OK but not great. Rooms are clean, the showers have water - though lukewarm and of variable pressure, there are inadequate lifts for the size of the hotel, the rooms are spartan and stark in furnishing. The breakfast buffet is a zoo...disinterested staff, very ordinary food... More

We stayed at Sevilla from April 17-25, and I was nervous at first after reading all of the negative reviews, but our stay there overall was quite pleasant. We had a corner room on the 4th floor (room 419) that was very nice. Beds and pillows were fine, linens were all clean, and the bathroom, though some older faucet fixtures,... More

The lobby is charming at this hotel and the location is perfect to get around Havana on foot. The rooms are so-so and not updated. Our room could have used a thorough cleaning as there were dark colored finger prints on the insides of of the doors. The breakfast buffet was pretty good and a great way to start the... More

The hotel is about to conclude the proccess of renovation of his rooms included bathrooms. Since june 2011 all furniture have been renewed : rooms, restaurants and Lobby. The hotel is located right in the life down town historic center. His centenary arquitectura is naturally open to the surroundings which makes it different of any conventional, closed air conditionned hotel. More

If you're looking for an authentic Cuban hotel experience, then this may be it. It's an old property with rooms that are basic. The only charm is in the lobby, but that's a stretch. The room we had was very small and cramped. The lighting was so poor that we had to ask for two side table lamps. The furniture... More

This is a great place to stay location wise as you can pretty get to anywhere you want in the Old Town / Centro on foot. It’s best if you get a higher up room though as they come with nice views. The pool is also really good and was a welcome respite for the heat of Havana. A comfortable... More

We stayed in the in the Hotel Sevilla in April, 2012, and is a solid 4-star hotel. We rates it as a "5" because it is in Cuba! We went to Cuba to celebrate our 30th anniversary and everything was great. Rooms: We had room 606. Beds were firm at first but very comfortable to sleep on. (Note, our double... More

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and were lucky to have a room on the 8th floor, with views over the city and out to sea. The rooms aren't fancy, but are adequate for a good nights sleep. Havana is a busy city, so expect some road noise, especially if you have a room overlooking the Prado -... More

Just got back from 10 days in Cuba - 3 in Havana and 7 in Varadero. We stayed at the Mecure Sevilla for our city break and found it to be a great location. The bar lounge area was stunning and was really reflective of the culture of this great city. There was live music every day and every evening.... More
