The rooms were a nice size, air conditioning, hot water and a great pool. Great meeting space for groups. Reservations agent was a bit rude however once on site hotel staff was very nice.

Wahoo bay beach resort is by far the best beach resort on cotes des arcadins, (1 hour away from port au prince) Haiti. They did very important renovations and some of their rooms and their pool area is brand new. Their beach is sandy and has clear water. The food is local and fresh. What I liked about it is...

Wahoo Bay Hotel. I stayed at this hotel being told it was one of the best in the area. However, the service was terrible for a duration of the stay had no water or electricity in the rooms due to planned construction. They didn't tell me they would be doing construction when I called for reservation. Also, hotel staff literally...

The grounds were beautifully manicured, Genevieve's pride...

I felt the music...

The room had no phone, no tv, the bathroom was in horrible condition and the electricity went out during the day. I understand i'm in a third world...

I have been to the resort twice with my husband and loved it both times. Its a nice quiet resort with good service and excellent food.
We always enjoy staying there when I come and visit Haiti.
I do have one suggestion though do not BRING FOOD INTO THE ROOM. We made the mistake of bringing chicken into the room...
