Excellent, great personalized service, cheap comfortable luxurious room. Cook breakfast yourself but they provide the ingredients. People who worked there were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and a nice, quite, clean, and reasonable local hotel. Enjoy San Juan, stay with the locals, this the best way to enjoy Old San Juan, even for private school 'prepsters' like me.

I am so glad my intro to Old San Juan began with my stay at the Pop Art Hotel. Was the perfect location, perfect hosts and superb hospitality with an "at home" feel. Great, great value for the location. Wireless is in the lobby, which I was allowed to stay in even when the staff departed at 11pm. I loved... More

We wanted a weekend away with our kids and decided to try the Pop Art Hotel. The hotel is exactly as described. No TVs and no WiFi in the rooms. So be prepared to be disconnected from your normal busy life. We stayed in room 3 which is a two bedroom. A master bedroom with a queen size bed and... More

This was a real find. Centrally located in Old San Juan and just a ten-minute walk to everything...really everything! The price was below average for this location and the homy feel to this place is indisputable. However, the term hotel is misused for this establishment, it is more of a B & B. And even if the description says breakfast... More

This little boutique hotel in Old San Juan is nice; however the rooms are small. There is no tv, coffee, or wifi in rooms. They offered a minimal breakfast and you had to share a referigerator witha ll other guests. After 11 pm the hotel has no staff on sight. We had originally booked 5 nights; however due to noise... We booked a stay in Vieques, and had not sorted out the first two days of our trip in old San Juan until we found this hotel on tripadvisor and booked it. It is generally really expensive to get lodging for6, and this hotel was a great find-I recommend it highly. The first night sewers on the second floor in... More

We wanted an affordable hotel right in the middle of Old San Juan so that we could walk to the sites and restaurants and avoid having to drive and park a car there. Pop Art Hotel was a pretty good fit for us, mainly for that reason. It was surprisingly quiet at night. The room was very small--especially the bathroom.... More

My daughter and I stayed here for one night. The price was great for old San Juan which is why I first chose it after reading the other reviews. The hotel staff was very friendly and gave us an upgrade with a balcony where we sat outside and enjoyed some time after dinner. The room was small, but very clean.... More

Apprehensive but hopeful we were when we booked our room at the Pop Art Hotel - THRILLED we left that we'd chosen to stay here and would do it again in a heartbeat! This is not the hotel for those who like the Marriott etc. This is a quirky and fun hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. (baked fresh cookies most days!) The room we had at back/top of the hotel had a spiral stair to the rooftop deck and original local paintings. The furnishings are inexpensive but clean and comfortable. Our... More
