This place is right off the main road in Esperanza. Very clean, modern, right in town (walking distance from everything) and they have lots of items available for use like chairs, coolers, snorkel gear for free. The breakfast was great with chocolate pastries and fresh fruit. There is a small pool, deep and narrow, but it's off to the side... More

We stayed here in April. It is in Esperanza, right on the Malecon strip which is probably the most full of nightlife on Vieques. You are right across from the water which is nice. The breakfast is set up every morning around 8 AM. No eggs but everything else you would need. Coffee, tea, juice, milk, cream, fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals,... More

...which actually isn't hard to claim, as there are only a few places in the town! The Malecon House is lovely in its own right, though. My spouse and I were pleased overall with our stay. I chose the Buena Vista room so we could spread out and I wanted a deck. The sliding doors don't have screens so they... More

This is a great place to stay in Esperanza! Looks much nicer than most of the beach hotels on the street. The town is verrrrry small so you can walk to all restaurants and bars in about 4 mins. Very clean, comfortable rooms with a nice view of the beach, but the beach has a very small shore line so... More

I have stayed 3 times at the Malecon House and I will continue to stay in my future trips to Vieques. It's a great place to rest up from your daily adventures around the island. It's clean and very relaxing. You can't beat the location either, walking distance to great Bars and Restaurants. There are no TV's or electronic devices... More

The Malecon House is a special place in Vieques. We were so happy we chose to stay on the Espranza side of the island. The owner was very helpful with tips and ideas to make our stay perfect. Our room was very clean and spacious. The breakfasts hit the spot in the morning with great scones and fabulous PR coffee.... More

Although we only had a couple of days in Vieques, we had an amazing time and really enjoyed our stay at Malecon House. The hosts were very helpful, the location is perfect (close to a couple of lovely restaurants) and you're right on the beach - complete bliss!

My husband and I stayed here during the last week of March, and what a wonderful time we had! Malecon house is a perfect guesthouse for people who want tranquility and care, appointed "just right". The architecture is minimalist, geometric, elegant, and rooms will give you what you need to rest and relax, with comfy beds, shelves, room safes. We... More

Loved this hotel. It is sophisticated and cozy at the same time. The location is perfect with cute restaurants and beautiful views. The complimentary breakfasts with homemade scones were delicious. Perfect! Our kids loved the little pool, too.

Malecon House is centrally located in the best part of the island. It is a very nice boutique hotel with lush greenery and very comfortable rooms. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. They have coolers, chairs, beach toys, boogie boards, beach towels, and umbrellas (for sun and rain) that are available to their guests. The pool is small but... More
