Doug was amazing! He picked us up from the ferry and we rented a car from him too. We booked room 3 with a private balcony overlooking the ocean. The pool was beautiful. He gives you everything from towels and beach chairs to beach and restaurant information. We would go back to Vieques just to stay with him again!

Vieques is a pretty chill place. The pace of the worlds slows down a bit so it's no surprise that I felt totally relaxed after spending 8-days on the island at Casa La Lanchita. We found La Lanchita to be one of the nicest places we've stayed. The owners, Doug and Mary Kay, were gracious hosts. The location is unbeatable, right on the ocean. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the island. My wife and I highly recommend it. We will be back next year.
