The Normandie is a perfect place for a quiet getaway on the beautiful island of St. Barts, a short hop from nearby St. Martin. The style and decorative theme of the hotel are influenced by the famous classic cruise ship the Normandie, and even the layout of the hotel is reminiscent of a large ocean liner. For a very reasonably... More

Normandie is probably the best hidden secret in St. Barts. a block from Lorient beach, near supermarket and the best bakeru=y in town, it is palce to relax and enjoy a few days in paradise. Best of all, the manager, Eula, is a Spanish national treasure living in St. Barts! She is friendly, funny and there to serve in any... More

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't require a large resort, the fanciest accommodations or room service. It's a quaint little boutique style hotel - managed by people who really care about their guests. The location is perfect and the breakfast is great, too. We used the hotel as a place to shower and sleep - and... More

I stayed here for the !st time in January and I apologize for the delay in writing this review. I couldn't have been happier. The service and the hotel itself is great. Eula and Patrice work as a team and are always there to help with any suggestions or questions. I've stayed in St Bart's many times either renting a... More

We spent a week at the Normandie Hotel and enjoyed it very much. The three women in charge were patient and helpful. The hotel is intimate enough that guests have the opportunity to get to know each other. The breakfast was delicious, and the 5:00 P.M. wine was low-key and friendly. The pool area is beautiful; it affords not only... More

We've taken many trips to St Barths, always staying in villas. We decided to take a week long trip in the middle of high season, and the Normandie, a charming B&B, was the perfect solution. Extremely economical compared to larger resorts on the island, it offers a delightful, quiet bedroom with wonderful linens and pillows (we've never slept so well!),... More

Normandie is adorable! From the first moment when you wake up to an authentic French breakfast of croissants and tea by the poolside to the moment you walk back from the beach and a lovely glass of wine awaits. I saw that another room did not have window, but our room, number 5, did indeed have a window. Eula was... More

Your comments are much appreciated, Kate, and we’re delighted that you appreciated room #5. It’s also known as “Wendy’s Room,” because she chooses it for every stay, when available. The views of treetops through the room’s clerestory windows . . . and its small private terrace . . . enhance an overall experience of tranquil serenity. It also brings back,... More

This is a small hotel located on a side street, close to Lorient beach in St. Barts. We chose this hotel as it was a good price for St. Barts and the previous reviews were favourable. We arrived from the ferry and were met by our taxi driver who provided complimentary service to the hotel when a car is rented.... More

St Barth is a wonderful and luxurious French enclave in the Caribbean and the Normandie provides great and very affordable acomodation. Clean, simple, spacious rooms, good location, very nice service, the best value for money to be found there. The little court with a pool, palm trees and a view of the mountain is one of the nicest breakfast places,... More

This hotel is awesome. The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring you have a wonderful relaxing time. The rooms were spotless. The location is perfect; just minutes away from the beach and only minutes away from shopping, which was great. Thank you sooo much Wendy and Eula for making my visit one of the best vacations I have ever had.... More
