spend our first month here after moving to the island in June 2017. 1 bedroom apt was basic and sparse but everything worked fine. when asked the staff made super swift changes or repairs so we have nothing to complain about. the grounds are beautiful and well kept. small pool with BBQ area is great for relief and a cool down now and then. ample parking and laundry place too. front desk is super friendly and helpful. only bad thing is that is tucked away in Point Blanche and not really easy walking distance to town

Was notified by the hotel manager the dept of health verified Legionnaires disease in the water supply to one of the buildings. He claimed at least 4 units were checked and all were positive. There are loose dogs running around the area, and this is encouraged by the residents as a form of security . They pee on the bottom of the pool lounge chairs and lay around wherever they like. People leave food out for them and it is attracting vermin I think.

This place was nice when my friends stayed at the bottom floor and I did give some great reviews.I then recommend some other family members and they stayed upstairs and this place was a total disaster. The airco was not working, door inside wasn't closing when rain fell the place was leaking inmensely and when you complain about it to the manager they think you are giving them harrasment but could not have the problem rectified. As a avid traveller to the caribbean islands.I would never recommend any one to stay there. The only thing about the place it is reasonably price and walking distance to town. The room had tv,stove,,fridge. The maintenance man on the compound if he likes you he would fix the problem and he looks very grumpy.I sat in the porch and saw some guest dogs had more access to the pool I was in awe when i saw this how could they allow dogs to bathe at the pool.

I stayed there on 14th April. Rooms cleaned and good. I feel better to have more illumination. AC very good, Not happy with the hot water facility. Not enough attention for guests from the staff. We need to call them always in the restaurants at least to get water. In the morning they were pumping water to the swimming pool and nobody looked in till the water come out and spread all over. Management should pay attention to take corrective actions and easily can become to a preferred destination.

I have had a very enjoyable stay at the Tamarind Hotel for 1,5 years while I was working on Sint Maarten as an attorney-at-law. The staff at the Tamarind Hotel is first-class and very friendly. They are always willing to help you out when you have a problem. My room (studio #3) was tidy and had a beautiful view on an equally beautiful and well maintained garden. When I return to Sint Maarten in the future, I will, without a doubt, book another stay at the Tamarind Hotel.

We have just had a two weeks vacation on St. Maarten and have had an enjoyable stay at the Tamarind Hotel for the whole period. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Every day a copy of the local newspapers and tourist information was delivered at our door by the owner; nice start of the day together with a cup of tea on your own porch or balcony. The rooms were nice and clean with a good bed, air conditioning and a kitchen which offered most of what you need. The hotel is part of a U-shaped complex with a beautiful, well kept garden and a pool in the center. Nice to be welcomed every day by the singing yellowbirds in the tree at the entrance. This kind of hotels offer you a different and more personal experience which you don't get at the big and well known hotels.

It was a nice stay. Service very friendly. I loved the fact that you can stay in your room and enjoy it. But also go sit on your balcony and enjoy all the plants and tranquility that the hotel offers. Especially how they take care of their plants making it a lovely view and in the evening being able to hear the wind go through the leaves. Worth the stay

It's about a 20-minute walk from the main shopping area (Front and Back Street) as well as restaurants so renting a car is advisable. There's also no restaurant on site but Chesterfield's is the closest thing...and the food is amazing at any time of day! Front desk staff are helpful and will sort out any issues you may have. The rooms are clean but you may see a couple ants so don't leave foodstuff lying around. It's self-contained so you can store groceries and cook. There's a small pool which does the trick on hot days. The shower works, the towels are a bit small but the lock on our bathroom door didn't work. We had no internet router but got one when I enquirer at the front desk. The thing about this hotel is that once you have any concerns, the staff will do their best to facilitate you and will make things work. I like that.

This place is charming and simple. Used to the luxury biggies like Marriott this place is different. Unfortunately the electricity was not working properly yet that's all in the game at St Maarten. Bed is simple and not the most comfortable. Room OK, WIFI should be available yet i did not find it nor used it. Staff is nice. Moderate prices.

The Tamarindri hotel has a very beautiful garden with all kinds of tropic flowers. Never seen like this cause the vegetation of Sint Maarten is not so splendid compared to the Paradise called TAMARIND harden ! The people of this hotel are without any exception very kind to the guests. It makes you feel at home. The manager always asks if you are ok. Mr Ingram works very hard to run this place. Chapeau! The swimmingpool is a fine place to stay. Mars Groen
