We spent our first night in the BVI at Village Cay before our sailing trip as the Nanny Cay was booked. Nothing fancy, but very nice people, nice little restaurant, bar there in the marina. Room was clean, comfortable. Reminds you to get on "Island time" which is a very good thing. It is a chore lugging your bags up... More

We often rent a boat at the Moorings in Road Harbor, Tortola and need a room for the night before our charter starts the next morning. The Moorings Mariner Inn is what most people book, but it can be over $300 a night! For a cheaper alternative try the Village Cay Hotel and Marina. The rooms are fine, there's a nice... More

We stayed here for 2 notes after our sail charter. We chose this because our boat sailed from/ to this marina, so it was convenient. We read the reviews of course before we booked. We were placed on the 3rd level at the back of the hotel. Yes it was a chore lugging our bags up all those stairs, but... More

We stayed with another couple in the 2 bedroom condo for one night before boarding our catamaran for a week. The condo was very spacious and clean. There was a small ant problem in the kitchen and bathroom but we were only there one night. The nozzle on the shower popped off while I was in the shower and we... More

WE stayed at village cay in february 2013 at the beginning of our boat charter and also at the end... I booked the 2 bedroom garden condo and found the room to be very comfy with plenty of room and was nice and clean. The restaurant had plenty of choice on the menu for even the picky eaters! swimming pool... More

Although centrally located, the hotel is run down and offers no comfort what-so-ever. Room have musty smell, ants and mosquitoes, shower did not work properly and A/C is extremely loud. Restaurant and Bar is located right in front of hotel and next to yacht harbor. Slow service and expensive (omelet $11-14). No WiFi in room but available in bar area... More

We stayed with 3 other couples in two condos at Village Cay Jan 31, 2013. We wish we could have stayed longer, as this was one of the best rooms we've had in the BVI. Very clean, well-appointed kitchen, AC worked great in all rooms, plenty of linens, hot showers, spacious and bright. Lovely deck looking out over gardens and... More

I stayed here three nights. The first night the air conditioner stopped working and the temperature rose to unbearable levels. The next day the maid said I needed to hit the reset button, although this was not obvious and there were no instructions in the room. She emphasized I had no way of knowing this, and I got the idea... More

January 2013 I stayed at Village Cay Hotel 2 days before and 1 after a bareboat charter. The room was clean but had an overpowering smell from a room freshener. The first morning I awoke to the smell of cigarettes probably for the vent system. One light didn’t work until I moved the refrigeration unit and plugged it in. The... More

We stayed here at the beginning and the end of our stay (having sailed a week in between on the beautiful Viking Dream catamaran!). The first weekend, we had booked a room with two double-beds for one night overlooking the Marina. When we arrived, we were informed that our room was not available but fortunately they upgraded us to one... More
