This was my first trip to the Caribbean and it exceeded my expectations. I had purchased a flight and hotel package at a good price, so I wasn't sure what to expect of the Reef Hotel. I had low expectations of the hotel and was pleasantly surprised.  The hotel is right on the beach, the rooms are clean and comfortable,... More

Beautiful room with Jacuzzi tub , microwave minifrige. Resort fixed our 2 issues promptly - sticky door and too soft mattress. We did not do the all inclusive and our 2 dinners at the resort were both dissapointments. Breakfast was fine by pricey without the plan. Luckily there is a very reasonable Subway there for inexpensive breakfast and lunch and... More

Spent a wonderful week at this resort and will be back again and again. May is the best for me the best time to travel to Cayman. It is not crowed during this time. Went to Seven Mile Beach with a cruise ship in town and was able to enjoy the water without the crowds. The staff at the Reef... More

Spent a week at The Reef recently and can't get over how beautiful this East End of the island is. We traveled with our 17 month old daughter and this was the perfect place. The beach is right outside your door and the two separate pool locations add variety. The East End provides plenty of things to do away from... More

Spent a week here on a timeshare exchange in March. The resort is located on far end of island approximately 1 hour from airport located on a very pretty beach. Swimming is not the best as there is quite a bit of rocky bottom but can be done at the far ends of the resort buildings. Units are well appointed,... More

Recently spent a week here with teenagers. Nice and quiet for us, not enough "action" for the teenagers. Great place to unwind, read on the beach, snorkel. Activites such as kayaking, waverunners, tennis and snorkelling for kids, but not a popular place for the young crowd. Beach bar had some entertainment in the evenings. The marine life around the facility... More

We stayed in a studio. A great room with a very large bed and jacuzzi where you could sit and enjoy a view if the sea. Very close to the beach which was very good for snorkelling. We would recommend this resort, whilst we were there it was very quiet, plenty of sunbeds for everyone and it was so good... More

My husband and I stayed at the Reef Apr 14-20 and we're glad we stayed there. We like to vacation away from people and crowds which is exactly what you'll find on SMB. Instead, we had a peaceful and relaxing week at theReef. We rented a car for the entire week which is necessary if you plan to stay on... More

We stayed at The Reef from April 11-21st. If I had to find something negative to report it would be that the advertised Wi-Fi was not available when we arrived. There was apparently some sort of problem with a third party provider. The Resort Staff did not seem to have any information about the probelem or when or if it... More

My husband and I travelled to the Cayman's (April 16-20) and stayed at The Reef Resort. The room accomodations were very nice and the staff were superb!! Cathy Richardson, the concierge, was especially hospitable and knowlegeable about what all the island had to offer. We purchased an all inclusive package and while the food was good, there were not enough... More
