I have stayed at this hotel at least three times before this recent trip and except for a paint job, nothing else has been done to the physical plant. The staff continues to do an excellent job especially the wait staff in the dining room. However the housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired but Beverley did a great job... More

Had an amazing stay from start to finish. Felt like home :-( really didn't want to leave. Staff was wonderful, it wasn't just a smile. Food was delicious but I must say the burger was perfect. If you are from Trinidad or planning a visit; Cascadia Hotel is the place to stay.

Check in was quick, easy and professional. Room was large, clean, air conditioned and had hot water. The beds were queen size and comfortable. Our room also had cable television . The towels were clean and in good condition. The patio was spacious and had a view of the water slides and surrounding mountains. The wide variety of birds could... More

Collected costume there and stayed during Carnival. Staff was polite. F&B Mgr willingly obliged to have a vege burger prepared. Food was wonderful especially the corn soup, accra and pineapple chow. The rooms were clean and comfortable. During the nighttime, rooms were quiet which was gladly welcomed after attending the Carnival shows. if you have any problems with the rooms... More

I love the idea of 'staying to get away' but one place i will never stay is at Cascadia. The reception was horrible. my fiancee and I were met with attitude just because we are young locals. We were told over the phone we could pay cash on arrival and there was room available due to it being out of... More

Booked this hotel very last minute as a place to crash in order to attend a few fetes in Port of Spain for the pre-carnival ramp-up. There must be a large difference between the rooms, as our experience here was terrible. (We should have known this would be the case given they had availability so late into the carnival planning... I came to Port of Spain with my colleagues & a group of winners (Listeners) for a Radio Promo initiated by a major airline. The hotel has been around since the 70's and it shows. The property and layout is amazing & can do with some renovations. The Staff and the food was great. Beverly who worked on the 2nd... More
