We spent the first 6 nights of our wedding vacation at the Morningstar side. What we loved most about this was the close proximity to the beach - the beach was so nice, and even with the door closed and air conditioning on, we could hear the waves all night. The renovations in the Frenchman's Reef were nice as well.... More

My husband won this trip at a silent auction last summer so we finally booked it for earlier this month. We were highly skeptical after reading some of the reviews below but we had no choice but you go! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this resort for the 3 days we were there. We stayed on the 3rd floor... More

They just built the inifinity pools and updated the swim up bar. The rooms look the same as they have been for years, but they were always nice. The amenities and food were all quite good. Things are on the pricey side. Expect to pay about 12 bucks per person plus tax and bags to get there from the airport,... More

During a recent visit to St. Thomas, we stayed at the Marriott Frenchman's Reef Resort. The start of our stay was an unusual one, and worththy of mentioning. As we were arriving at the resort, I began experiencing an allergic reaction to a granola bar I had eaten earlier on my flight into St. Thomas. As I was making me... More

What a beautiful resort. Infinity pools, lovely beach and peaceful atmosphere. My love and I stayed for six days. We visited St John &Trunk Bay beach. Truck bay beach is an all white beach, breath taking. The Marriott spent 43 million in renovating and it was well worth it. I loved it and will go back in a drop of... More

If you plan on visiting St. Thomas, I recommend staying at Marriott Frenchman's Reef but be aware that you may had a few surprises when you arrive. First off, customer service is excellent. If you plan on making a local call from your room, expect a bill ($2.50 per call). I discussed this with the front dest and all charges... More

This was my first time to St. Thomas- and I cannot say enough about the resort and the way that the entire staff treated myself and my sister. I would like to say a special thank you to a Mr. Peter O'Malley who went above and beyond his willingness to ensure that our every wish was handled and the most... More

I had never been to St. Thomas before. I went for a wedding and vacation all rolled into one. The Marriott Fenchman's Reef was wonderful. The price was right, the amenities were great, and it was all around fun. The wedding was spectacular! Everyone that works there was so friendly you really could not have asked for more! More

May 4-10/2012 I have to start by saying St Thomas is a beautiful island, the water is spectacular! So onto the Marriott. The arrival was not pleasent but only because they did not allow us to check in until 4pm (and I had read online before the trip that they do that so you hit the bar/restaurant while you wait).... Just returned from a week's stay. Highly recommend it. Fabulous view. Service was impeccable. The Morningstar beach may not be a premier Virgin Islands beach but is quite fine. There are four restaurants that were all satisfactory to exceptional (esp. Havana Blue). Plan to spend $100-$200 per day for meals for two. The hotel has a vendor which offers a... More
