My husband and I stood here 5/16 thru 5/19/12. We had a newly renovated room, harbor front. The room was nicely done, clean, it did however have a metallic smell, like the AC needed cleaning out, if you've ever smelled this you know what I mean, it wasn't that it was bad, it was noticeable, and be advised I do... I have just come back from a stay at the Windward Passage 4/20/2012-5/1/2012 during the carnival festivities and I can only say BRAVO BRAVO! As I am a Revenue Manager at a hotel in New York City, I tend to notice the little things and also tend to have pretty high expectations as I would expect my guests to have... More

We chose Windward Passage because it was right across the street from the ferry which we were taking to Virgin Gorda. The reviews on TripAdvisor sounded fine to me. We stayed for 2 nights and were very pleased. It is not a resort hotel with a beach, but a good place to stay on your way to someplace else. The... More

The hotel is very clean in general. Seems like theres a lot of employes doing almost nothing. Everything is very slow and sometimes it feels like a retirement home. This and the fact that we had really bad weather during our stay, didnt surpass the overall feeling - its a nice hotel and everyone try to be friendly. Internet in... More

This is my second time staying at this hotel because I wanted to be at the middle of the city, but next time I would rather dea with the fustration of staying father away. The front desk staff is rude and very short with guest. I thought it was just us but then I witness them being rude to a... More

I have been coming to St Thomas for several years and love the location of the Windward Passage. Some of the rooms are not so good, but the staff is friendly and helpful. However, this trip I have been here more than 24 hours with no working key to my room. They have tried and given me keys and sent... More

Sorry not meet your expectations. My apologies for the key issue. The hotel key system was impacted by a power failure and requires order a part from mainland US which took time arrived. We appreciated your business and invite you to stay with us again. Please reach out to me directly for your next visit to St. Thomas. Thanks again. More

I recently booked this hotel for my daughter and her friends who were attending a wedding. The hotel was not worth the high price. The rooms were very dated. They stayed in room 326 and came home with several bites from some unknown bugs. Maybe bed bugs. The room was in need of major renovations. The shower water pressure was... More

Very well located especially if you are in transit between the USVI and the BVI and St John and also St Croix. Staff are friendly and service is fine.An effort seems to be made by the operators to keep the Hotel up to date, but it has been in Charlotte Amalie for many years and the physical appearance in less than... I am currently staying at this Hotel. The people who work in the Hotel have been extremely nice, but the owner or owners need to be honest. The price is not worth the stay. There are so many shanti clubs in the back of the Hotel and the music from the clubs is booming loud. It seems that the tourism... More

I'm sure this place used to be something back in its day. Rooms are small but air conditioner works well. Neighborhood in back is the slums. Easy 5 min walk to resturants & eating places. We stayed here because of the walking proximity to the water ferry going to Roadtown, St John to get our catamaran rental. The in Hotel... More
