We had a wonderful stay at The Green Iguana this past week. The rooms were clean, we had a beautiful view off our balcony, and most importantly, John & Gwen made us feel like family! They were so helpful! It was our first trip to St Thomas and they made our stay amazing! We will definately go back! More

We had a really nice stay at The Green Iguana Hotel. The owners, Gwen and John, were very helpful recommending beaches, restaurants, other places to see. This is a great little mom & pop getaway hotel in the foothills of St. Thomas. A short historic 99 step descent gets you to all the action at Charlotte Amalie harbor. The hotel managers Gwen and John are anxious to please and made our stay very pleasant. Great view from balcony. Recommended! More

Wasn't Carnival FUN! So many activities just a short walk from The Green Iguana Hotel! This was the island's 60th Carnival Celebration! You will be able to reminisce this fall as MTV's Real World cast was in the Adult Parade! More

Not as expensive as a resort, although things ARE expensive in the Virgin Islands, in general. We like getting away from the chain hotels and restaurants - if you are traveling somewhere different, why stay in or eat at a place that you might find in your home town??!! My wife and I stayed here bookending a week's stay on Virgin Gorda. We really enjoyed the effort that Gwen and John put into making us feel comfortable.
