We checked in on friday 5/25...normal check in is 4pm. UNDERSTOOD....they provided my first room which was clean but right beside an elevator which in my profile says NO ELEVATOR. I went back to platinum desk to be moved to a QUIET ROOM. i absolutely got no sleep in the Harbor View ...you could absolutely hear eveeyrhing and i got... More

Frenchman's Cove is Marriott's timeshare units on St. Thomas. The units are built on a steep hillside, ensuring that all the units have a view of the ocean. The resort is relatively new and the place was clean and comfortable. I don't think the furnishings or building was quite as nice as I expect from a Marriott. The restaurants (and... More

I spent a week at this hotel and enjoyed it quite a bit. The hotel and pools were recently renovated (with some minor construction work still ongoing). The Harbour wing could be a little nicer, but I enjoyed the tree frogs outside in the evenings. Skip the Sunset Grill--service is indifferent at best--and go down to Coco Joe's on the... More

Marriott is always consistent and this was the case here. The resort is not the best Marriott TS I've stayed at but it was still very good. The area is hard to get around, needing 3 elevator changes from one villa to the beach as an example. St Thomas is a difficult place for 'electricity', so ours went out occasionally... More

We own a week here and go about every other year. This is a great place to stay but you have to remember it is a villa not a 4 star hotel, no room service or daily cleaning service. We go to the grocery on our first day to get food for a few lunches and dinners as well as... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. We had a great ocean view from our second floor condo. The place was a very spacious, clean and well furnished two bedroom unit. The pool area was nice, The beach was difficult to use because of the rocks and sea urchins, but beautiful to look at. The staff was very... More

Spent one week at Frenchman's Cove with my wife, son-in-law and two grandchildren. Our two bedroom, two bath villa (#252) was ready by 3:00 p.m. and I couldn't have been happier with its location - the top floor of the Virgin Gorda building. The view was incredible. From the picture window in the living area or from either of the... More

Frenchman's Cove is a well maintained, nicely situated, slightly older looking Vacation Club property, BUT to really enjoy the experience you need to be on one of the top two floors in any of the buildings. We were in the Virgin Gorda bldg. on the top [5th] floor, wonderful views of the ocean, beach, cruise ships arriving and town of... More

We're finishing up our stay here. Overall, not bad... Make sure you request one of the following buildings in order to avoid taking 3 elevators to pool/beach: Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Jost Van Dyke... Two weeks before we arrived I called to request to purchase an amenity for my parents and was told by the Market Place attendant that their manager... More

We stayed for eight nights and loved it! It had a great bar and fun activities for the kids about every hour. It had an outstanding pool and beach area, and amazing snorkeling. And the room, it was so big! Perfect for kids! 2 bedrooms, one with a king size bed, another with two queens. There was a laundry machine,... More
