So I visited this resort with high hopes and was really disappointed. The staff at Point Pleasant I found to be rude and very unhelpful. The resort is out dated. You looked off the balcony and it was stunning views of the mountains and water. You looked down and there was trash in the bushes and on the walking trail.... More

The resort was probably very nice when first built. It is on a hill and the shuttle is necessary unless you don't mind climbing stairs quite a bit. Each unit appears to be owned by an individual owner. The unit I stayed in could really use some help. it was very dated, the appliances and furniture were old, and the... More

My wife and I stayed here on our last night out of the USVI. We stayed in room C6, pretty close to the bar Jack's Bight. We actually saw the real world cast here eating lunch. Room was extremely spacious. Very clean. Our check in took a while as our room wasn't ready for A while. But overall good experience.... More

First let me say this resort is nice but dated, however if the power goes out on island you are SOL. St. Thomas was having rolling blackouts and this resort does not have a generator for the units. No power off and and on, and more importantly NO WATER! The water pressure could not build up enough to get to... More

I trusted the website, and boy was i mistaken. Even the hotel room book was still outdated, along with the map of the resort they gave us. It says: 3 restaurants. There is 1 restaurant. It says small grocery store, there is NO grocery store. One day, we came back at 10pm to our room, to find a trash bag... More

Where to start... The first woman we met with at the front desk was very nice and helpful. I believe she is the manager of the resort. The views from the lobby were amazing! We stayed in suite D-25 (boyfriend, daughter, and I). The room was incredible and I can't imagine anyone giving it a bad review. It had everything... More

This was a first time rental for my wife and I at Pt Pleasant, and we loved it so much, we are considering buying a vacation condo there. First of all, I am perplexed at the bad reviews concerning the staff at this resort, as we found that you cannot find nicer, more professional and enthusiastic staff anywhere. EVERYONE of... More

I stayed there in february with my cousins. First of all, I must say that St. Thomas is not what I expected. Everything is very expensive, and local people are rude. Point pleasant are condos "decorated" according the owner's taste, so every room is different. Only Willy (bell boy, concierge, taxi driver, etc.) was kind and helpful. Ladies in front... More

This resort has one downfall. it is on a hill and if you enjoy walking up hills to get to everything then you are fine. We however rented a car and drove to the restaurant and beach. Besides that this resort is wonderful. My husband and I went the year prior and went back this year with our 18 year... More

Just returned from a one week stay at PP. I gave a rating of 3 stars (really a 2.5) to split the difference between the view/our particular unit (rented from a private owner through vrbo) and the "resort" which isn't really a resort at all. Our view was simply awesome and our unit was updated and nicely decorated while providing... More
