Although me and friend only stayed for one night ( in a twin room) I would recommend this guest house as exceptional. All of the staff were friendly and our room immaculate and well presented (the rooms similar to premier inn standard). Breakfast was great and there is room to park motor bikes on a hard standing area. The approach lane... More

Of all five places we stayed on our Welsh holiday, this was the least hospitable. We had booked a room with two beds and also phoned to have this room confirmed. But on arrival we were shown a one-bed room. Most astonishing was the attitude. When we pointed out we had the paperwork for a two-bed room, the reply was... More

We stayed here two nights in a nice twin bedded room. The room, bedding, bathroom, towels TV were spotless and it was lovely to actually get a bath in the bathroom, instead of the usual shower only. A nice bonus - the room contained a fridge. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the breakfast cooked to order. My only... More

Welcoming host, set us up in a clean and tidy room. Bed was comfy and there were plenty of towels, breakfast was great and pretty much made to order. The view from here is stunning. There is even a lake running in front of the place. We shacked here as we were doing the snowdonia triathlon, so the distance was... More

Very friendly hostess at the b'n'b, which was located in the beautiful Brecon Beacon area, i.e. close to various outdoor activities. Good breakfast with a selection of different cereals, yoghurts and juices. Not quite a b'n'b feel, rather like a small family-run hotel.

My husband and I stayed for two nights. Our hostess was very lovely and helpful, she directed us to a local restaurant in a hotel which she recommended, if we fancied it. The room was a lovely very large size room and very warm and cosy. The bed was comfy and the bath was amazing after 9 hours of trekking... More

Stayed here recently whilst in the area on business for the night, found a warm and friendly welcome as I arrived straight there from work. Had some winding down time in my nicely sized room and a nice hot bath and a good book once I was settled. They don't do evening meals but there are several places nearby and... More

We stayed here Sunday for one night only so did not get the opportunity to use the hotel location to it's best. You will receive a friendly welcome at this guest house that is located on the outskirts of the Brecon Hills and Moors. You can't check in till 5.00pm and if you have been out for most of the day... We went to Llwyn Onn as a couple for one night only but really enjoyed our stay at this lovely guest house. The best thing about it is the location - just off the A470. Very close to Storey Arms (if you fancy to take a walk to Pen y Fan) and also not far from Cardiff (which we found... More
