My story's a little long-winded, so for a quick summary scroll to the end... My significant other and I are long-distance, so he planned to fly down to my city and then we would meet up at his connecting flight to the Bahamas. His flight was delayed, and ended up missing our connecting flight, which had me incredibly distressed. We... More

The Hilton British Colonial has the perfect location in Nassau. Close to restaurants, shops and historical buildings. You can use the small beach with view to the cruise harbor, Junkanoo public beach at walking distance or also go to Paradise island at also walking distance (about 40min walking). Service is good (services in Jamaican and Dominican resorts are a lot... More

My wife & I were looking for an "easy to get to location" for a four day stay. Though we found Nassau (including Paradise Island) wanting of charm, the British Colonial retained an attractiveness that Henry Flagler conceived in the early 20th century. It has been updated for the 21st century business person, couples & families. The beach is good... More

This property is located near the docks so you can see the cruise ships come in and pull out. You'll get some really great views of some really great ships. The beach is small and private and very clean. If you want to walk up and down the beach and see other properties, then this is not the property for... More

I wasn't very impressed with a weekend stay here. My girlfriend and I arrived Friday afternoon and stayed until Monday evening. I booked the hotel through a third party website and got a subtotal of $477.00 and an extra line item (taxes and fees) for $90.00 bringing the total to $567.00 for three nights. The problems started at breakfast. The... More

The picture you see is what you get. My wife and I wanted 5 days alone, and we got it. The The hotel is exceptionally clean and very luxurious. The property is immaculate inside and out. Beach and pool facilities were clean, neat and private. There was no need to run out at 6 am and "save" a spot. There... More

My husband and I stayed here for a week-end in april 2012. It's and old hotel so nothing fancy. But the location is the best, in the heart of the downtown and walking distance to everything you need! Rooms are small old but very clean and descent! Bed are VERY comfortable, good nights sleep. Service is good and employees are... More

This a great hotel for a stay in Nassau. It is convenient, well located right along the main street of the city, and has a fabulous private beach plus pool with heated towels provided free to hotel guests. The stately medium rise old colonial British design of the building is in perfect harmony of scale to the rest of the... More

I was disappointed in this historic hotel run by Hilton. We stayed two nights, once before we flew out to Shannas Cove, Cat Island, and another time on our return from there. It was expensive, for one thing. The first stay was in an 'honors' room, and while the room was updated, there were some problems. The tub filled up... More

We have visited hotels all throughout the Caribbean and the United Staates and as the old adage goes or as "Dorothy" would say, "There's no place like home"!!! We are Bahamians and from the moment we entered the hotel and until the time we departed the hospitality, friendliness and helpfulness of all staff we encountered, was phenominal. This was one...
