The towne hotel was okay. The room was a bit out of date but what can you expect with the low rate? One thing I did not like is that I booked through Hostels.com and the hotel ran my credit card through without my knowledge before I got there. This was not what was explained to me on Hostels.com. The... More

We did not have reservations when we arrived, due to the Arawak Inn screwing up our reservations, but the Towne Hotel got us a room after about an hour. The room was very clean and not a bed bug in sight in the very comfy bed. It's not the Hilton, but that's not our style! We like the smaller type... More

I was in the towne hotel on the 24th of Feb just for one night, because i did not have any hotel booked and unfortunately I did not get my suitcase for the first night.. I asked at the info desk at the nassau apt to give me some info about a good and cheap accomodation in Nassau and the... More

Hotel is located in Nassau centre, very close to the Hilton. You are 2 minutes away from bay shopping street. Getting to paradise with a taxi is 15 dollars. In the room is not easy to find a plug. There is no hairdrier. Rooms are pretty clean, from time to time you may get some problems with mosquitoes. Breakfast is eggs,bread,sAusages,mArmelade,the... More

The location is close to Bay St. shopping downtown, Junkanoo beach, and Senor Frogs, but not much else. Make sure not to go any further inland in the downtown area, because it is very sketchy area. We were told three times it wasn't safe when trying to find a grocery store a couple of blocks further inland. The lobby area... More

If your expecting 5 stars forget it, stay in cable beach or go across the bridge to paradise island. On the the other hand if you're like me and just looking a cheap affordable, clean place to stay downtown then this is your best bet. we really only slept there because a vacation should be more than staying in an... Cubana airline put us up here overnight after we had been bumped from our flight and lost our room at the Wyndham Resort. The hotel is in a nice downtown location but the drive to the airport took 30-45 minutes. Our room had two queen beds with about a foot between them and about six-eight inches on the other side... We stayed for a week at this place located at downtown Nassau and enjoyed it a lot. Rooms are clean, the whole hotel has a nice old colonial style and a awesome, sometimes speaking parrot. Service was great at all times and we had some good drinks at the hotel bar. Absolutely recommendable if you are looking for a not... More

A very convenient place to stay with a bohemian vibe in downtown Nassau. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. The pool was a bit murky and my room wasn't luxurious by any stretch of the imagination, but it was a decent value for an expensive island. In fact, just about everything in Nassau costs about 40% more than it... More
