We were looking for a simple place to stay in Mulu, but this place is much better than expected. The hotel is clean and well organized, we could easily get transportation from the hotel to the Natural Park. The staff was nice and helpful. I recommend this place! More

Our flight out of Mulu was unfortunatey cancelled so we put up in the Royal Mulu. Having just spent 3 days in HQ its hard to see why people opt to stay at the resort. However, it is an impressive property and with some investment it could be amazing. There are plenty of rooms and they are clean and spacious... More

PROS : This resort is set in a gorgeous setting in the midst of the forest and up on high stilts. The staff are friendly and helpful. I asked for a hair dryer and they sent one right over. the lobby bar is overlooking the river, so it's a nice place to sit down and have a cold beer. I... More

After having read some of the reviews about the resort, I was slightly apprehensive about staying here. However, it turned out to be a great hotel with huge rooms and a scenic environment. The bathroom was very clean with good TV and it even had WIFI in the common areas. There was also a badminton court and some activities like... More

If you want to see the caves and park in Mulu, you have to stay in Mulu - it's not a day trip. And if you have to stay, there are only two options: the park accommodation, and this place. If you don't fancy staying at the camp, or think you would like something "higher-end", then this is your only... More

Stayed here because the park accommodation was full and we had no flexibility on dates to visit Mulu otherwise we would have steered clear. We booked one of their packages for 3D/2N including cave tours and a couple of other things which wasn't terrible value if we were staying in a half decent hotel. However: 1) The room was dated,... This is a resort whose location is undeniably fabulous. However, the rooms and the food were at there best twenty years ago. The rooms are big, but very sparingly furnished. The bathroom verged on grim. Tiles off in the shower, stuff on the walls, damaged ceiling and generally showing it's age (of at least a couple of decades). Whilst some... More

One of the 2 places to stay at when going to the Mulu park. Nice - great spa and nice swimming pool. Good food & expensive wine (which is not surprising in Asia). Rooms clean, although the whole area seems to be pretty old and neglected. Agree that more competition is needed. More

The accomodation choices at Mulu are quite limited. There are few uber basic homestays next door to the Mulu headquarters (so you can go to Mulu without having a booked accomodation, there will be beds in dorms), and the rooms of the Headquarters itself ( which seemed very nice, also considering the location in the park itself, so you can...
