Spent a week in a private reserve with four beaches a magnificent collection of art and a beachfront villa with the ocean lapping at our feet. The food and service was unforgettable. So private and away from the beaten track. We hiked played tennis swam and did nothing. The staff arranged for anything we wanted to do. We felt all... More

Thank you so much for your kind review. You described the Las Alamandas experience perfectly! Our entire staff works had to assure that everyone who visits will come away completely relaxed and refreshed, feeling like they’ve enjoyed their own private paradise. Please return soon! We look forward to welcoming you once again. With warm regards, General Manager, Las Alamandas More

We recently returned to Las Alamandas and once again found it to be our own private nirvana. This is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and completely serene places that we have visited. We mountain bike, walk the secluded beaches or, sometimes, just sit on our porch and watch the waves crash on the beach. There are usually only 4-10... More

Unbelievable!! This place is definitely remote and off the beaten path, but once the road ends at Las Alamandas you will be very happy that you made the trip! It is absolutely one of the most gorgeous places I've ever been. When at full capacity there are 30 - 40 guests. Our group of 8 had the place totally to... More

We stayed here for 5 days for our quick honeymoon in 2006 and had an absolute blast. Impeccable rooms, personable service, great food and accommodation. We couldn't have been happier. More

There are only a handful of places remotely close to this concept on Earth, and Alamandas is truly in a league by itself. We love it because it is colorful, yet elegant, which is not easy to pull off. They have leveraged the very best flavors and beauty of Mexico but the service and attention to detail is that of... We have visited Las Alamandas, few months ago and could not believe this stunning and breathtaking resort. It completely exceeded our expectations. From the minute we arrived we had nothing but the best services and attention. Property with only seven private villas offers a complete oasis of relaxation and you feel like you are the only person there. We could... More

What a beautiful place this is! 2 hours away from Puerto Vallarta, driving thru the mountains and onto paradise. The place is naturally beautiful and the facilities superb. It made us feel like we were staying at a friend's Hacienda. The staff is super friendly and professional and the food delicious. Next time, we will stay at the San Isidro... More

I feel compelled to comment on an unpleasant event which occurred while my wife and I recently spent two nights & three days at the elegant & luxury resort Las Alamandas on the Mexican Riviera. This was our second visit to this Tropical Paradise, and we were looking forward to another fantastic visit to this 1,500 acre ecological reserve.Unfortunately our wonderful... This was our 4th visit to Las Alamandas and we never tire of it. It is breathtakingly beautiful, the rooms (if private casitas can be called rooms) and fabulous. The service is exceptional and the food lovely. Peace, privacy, luxury... what more could you ask for. More

I've been there in high Summer, which is the local low season because of the high temps (low 30s, actually) and frequent rainfalls (a blessing in desguise, actually). I was planning to surf, but the actual beach break just in front is not really good - still, if you care to rent a 4x4 if you'll find plenty of decent... More
