Ok, its only a motorway Travelodge, but this one is grim. Old rooms, old linen, old rooms. It is OK at a £9 special, but otherwise look at the Days Inn 5mins away. The restaurant is closed BTW and now a home for rats. More

Don't expect all the frills as this is budget accommodation. However, it was clean and two good nights' sleep were had. The hotel is probably overdue some refurbishment but certainly good value. The only negative is the access to and from the A1 but this was not a major issue. More
