My mum and I stayed at Westcourt recently. We were attracted by the fact that we could get one-to-one tuition from an expert artist and teacher. It really was a three day 'Creative indulgence!' Bill had a lovely relaxed and encouraging style. This enabled us to learn a great deal during our stay. He offers a tempting range of artistic... More

My daughter Nisha and I stayed with Bill and Felicity at their scenic b&b for three days and had excellent art training under expert artist, sculptor, caricaturist, teacher Bill. We were instructed in the stages of making a painting and did a couple of them under his expert eye and we had unbelievable results. Felicity made us really welcome and... More

This is a really really nice place. A lovely 17th century (perhaps with later bits) partially-thatched house, beautifully decorated, with lovely, helpful Mrs Mather as front of house and Mr Mather's wonderful pictures on all the walks. Our room was warm and cosy, with everything one could need, including bath robes, and I slept like a log. Although we didn't... More

Beautiful location and cottage. Accommodation so warm and comfortable, gardens a pleasure to walk in. Could not have been made to feel more welcome, nothing was too much trouble for Felicity & Bill. Will definitely be returning.

As a traveling family, Bill and Felicity's 17th century B&B was a magical place our children just loved it and say its " Defo " the best place they have stayed in. The garden is so beautiful and Bill & Felicity seem like old friends by the time we left. Couldn't recommend this B&B enough. From a New Zeland/Irish family

This lovely peaceful and picturesque B&B was our accommodation for 2 nights and was a tonic at a very difficult time, namely my 59-year-old brother-in-law's funeral after a road accident. As well as providing very comfortable accommodation, Bill and Felicity made us very welcome. It turned out that they knew the other villager who had died at this time, and... More

My second visit to Felicity and Bill's charming home and B&B lived up to the high expectations created by the first. Just read the other reviews and you'll see what I mean. It's a magic place, especially for visitors from countries like mine that have no 17th century thatched houses. The gardens are serene and wonderfully designed; even their black... More

Recently a friend and I stayed at Westcourt Bottom B&B in Burbage, Wiltshire. The website doesn’t do justice to the aesthetics of this place. Bill Mather is a working artist, accomplished in an array of mediums; he and Felicity have used that eye for color and design to make an inviting home out of a 15th century thatched brick house.... The gardens, accomodations, and friendly welcome were highlights of my trip to England. Bill and Felicity designed and built the fantastic, many-roomed gardens, which made a dream-come-true experience for me! We were in a group with multiple accomodations, and were clearly the envy of the group for accomodations, food and gardens!! Would love to visit again.
