Stayed here before and after a sea kayak camping trip to Espiritu Santo Natonal Park. Nice location a few blocks off the malecon in a quiet neighborhood. Nice, attractive, well-mantained hotel. Nice rooms, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms. Very helpful staff. Very reasonably priced. Great nearby restaurants. Even the in-room coffee was delicous.

This is an average hotel at best. By Mexico standards, it's pretty clean. Staff were very friendly. Bed feels like you're sleeping on plywood. I really liked this hotel, right downtown so you can easily walk to main square, visit the church, stroll down the quiet streets down the beach. The rooms are nice, the hotel is brand new and has some nice touches. It is a good place to stay if you plan to be on business. The hotel has no view and a small pool, so i would recomend it if you are to spend most of your time on the beaches or restaurants.

I prefer to stay in downtown La Paz when visiting to be closer to restaurants, the malecon (boardwalk), La Fuente helado (ice cream). While I know the resorts outside of town may be nicer, you can't beat the energy of downtown.
