I run a Tour Company called www.vpvacations.com and if you want a cheap air and hotel or just hotel rates give me a call. Quijote is a very nice hotel but DO NOT USE your credit card at this hotels restaurant as they are using their credit card machine to get your CC info to make duplicate cards to make... More

This is a small, boutique hotel, nice restaurant, right on the beach. Been going for years. Just a warning: they rent out the hotel for both American and Mexican spring break college students WITHOUT security at night to keep things sane. All night they drank beer, parties, screamed, and played music. The Mexican students came the day before we left,... More

We have been staying here on vacations for more than 20 years. Great staff, extremely helpful. The beds are very comfortable (they did used to have the concrete slab with a mattress on top, but no more) and the rooms are typical hacienda type, which I find charmingly Mexican. Who wants to stay in Mexico in a standard room that... More

My Husabnd and I and another couple went to Mexico for the first time, and it was to Mazatlan. We stayed at the El Quijote Inn. Somewhat fearful, what with a strange language and money, we checked in. The price was right, the rooms are nice a big, full kitchen with basics. I must say that the beds are about... More

We exchanged our two-bedroom timeshare for this one. As with many vacations to an unfamiliar place, there were good points, and not so good points. On the plus side, the location is lovely, right on the beach. The suite with master bedroom and another adjoining room were large enough, and there was a Murphy bed in the living area. The... More

If you are looking for a HotSpot, this is NOT the place to be! Small hotel on a safe stretch of beach. It's old and it is Mexico, so don't be expecting the Ritz at these prices, but. . . If you are looking for a welcoming, caring staff, clean rooms, beautiful views and a great location for walking the... More

Traveled to this hotel late January/early February '06 for quick 1 week vacation. I have been to Mayan Coast (caribbean), Acapulco, Puerto Viarta, and this Hotel/area is nothing exceptional. We did not have a suite, room only. Room is old, light switches falling off, no purified water, ceiling fan not working, clogged drains, hard beds (as most Mexican hotels), pool... More

We just came back from Mazatlan, and we stayed at the "Quijote Inn" for 3 nights. Well after reading the reviews here we expected nice things. But well, now we are more wise... In the hotel guide of our travel agency this hotel was rated with 5*... Well we would give it 3*.... Even in the description of the hotel... More

What a nice place. Beautiful view, spacious, charming Mexican style accomodations. Friendly atmosphere. Nice pool. Even better than the El Cid. A beautiful place to stay in Mazatlan- you won't be disappointed. More
