I stayed at "La Casa del Tio" two nights and I definitly enjoyed it. the staff is very friendly and all the rooms are clean and well taken care of. the hostel is worth its more than moderate price. Thank you very much!

The Hostal is in a great location (just off from Teatro Principal) but many other features such as kitchen (no fridge nor utensils) cleanliness of showers etc. lag behind the other hostels I've been too. It's on ok hostel, not great but ok. As well, there is a lot of street noise.

When I was here it was pretty quiet, maximum 6 guests at the same time and I was alone in a dormitory. Three showers for men, more than enough now, but not enough when the hostel is full. I went to Guanajuato with a friend for the last Cervantino Festival. As this was spontanious we were glad to get a room. At least we had a bunk bed on our own: in the same room was a double bed, occupied with 3 guys. This was still fine, as the whole beautiful city was crowded because of the event.... More
