The hotel is very well located, the staff are very friendly (just one lady in the reception was grumpy). The rooms are big and clean with huge and comfortable beds. The food in the restaurant is quite good but expensive. The only couple of things I did not like at all is that they exchange the currency in a very unreasonable... More

This hotel is in the process of refurbishment, so my review is on the pre refurbishment rooms. The hotel is just off Reforma the main avenue. It is close to the Zona Rosa, 10 minutes walk and also to Insurgentes Subway. The rooms were half price as the were the older rooms. They are huge rooms, kingsize bed and desk... More

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for one week and found it to be a good location in a nice area of Mexico City. We felt safe in that neighbourhood. We had access to the metro as well as the metro bus on Insurgentes Street. There is a restaurant where you can have a buffet every morning with... More

I was upgraded to a better room because the one I had booked wasn't available. The hotel staff were really nice and friendly, but not very knowledgeable (e.g. I asked if there was a hairdresser/barbershop nearby and the receptionist had no idea). They held our bags for the day after we checked out, etc. We used one of the taxis... More

Staff very pleasant and helpful. Had a Superior room which should be called basic or back packers, They were probably decorated red and purple in the 70’s. The first night in Room 308 was too noisy with huge extractors outside on a flat roof. Also they were refitting the room above with drills during the day time 8-5. Reception was... More

Had a few nights booked in this hotel with my mother, yes we had the room at a very cheap rate and yes I understand they are busy updating the rooms, those are things that are understandable when you book a cheap hotel. What's not acceptable is the lack of a safe/security box and untrustworthy staff! We were very careful... More

Thank you for taking the time to let TripAdvisor’s readers know about the situation. We just stayed here 3 nights in October 2011. We speak very little spanish but there was always a gracious manager there to assist us.
