Right on the port with great views of ships and town hall, this is a modern, chic hotel in Veracruz. Three pools (incl. an indoor one), and a jacuzzi, two in house restaurants, secure complimentary parking, and cool, fair sized rooms with balconies. Near to a couple of bustling cafes.
Great value for money, would definitely stay here again.

I spent 1 night in the Emporio before my morning flight out. The hotel is located in the central area with a lot of historic buildings. It is located right on the water, put it is a working port with not much of a beautiful view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I speak no Spanish, but there was...

We were lucky to get a good rate via a local friend which made it even better. Great location, right on the seafront by the port on the Malecon and so close to the main square and shops (5 minute walk), 1 block away from a convenience store and right next door to the most popular cafe in Veracruz. The...

The operator at the hotel was helpful when I called ahead of arrival to confirm my confirmation. She indicated that the taxi from the airport to the hotel would be about 200 peso which was on target. There is a taxi concession at the airport so all the cabs are official.
The rooms are clean. Air conditioner worked so well...

Choose a room in the 01-12 room number range (ours was 602) and you get a great view of the port comings and goings as well as the malecon. We were there during Carnivale and so the room had the added bonus of giving us a front row seat at the entertainment without the hassle of the huge crowds. Room...

The Emporium is an excellent hotel.
The location can't be better, right on the malecon, and just beside the Cafe La Parroquia, which you can't miss as it is a Veracruz institution. You can walk almost everywhere!
The rooms are business type. Stylish and confortable. Executive rooms (7th floor) have access to the roof terrace restaurant / bar - offering...

- A/C break down on first day
- WiFi was not really working, connection was lost every 5 to 10 mins
I would stay there again, but choose an other room

After a complete down to the studs renovation that took a couple of years the place is lovely and the view is great. The hotel looks over the working port and all the people on the Malecon. The only issue is that with all that going for it, and with an expensive pricetag, the food is only mediocre. There are...

We was visiting Emporio Hotel twice in the week 46 - 2011. The setting of the hotel are very good in the best end off the city out to a busy habour. If you come higher than 4 level you wil be able to see the see. We had a superior room facing the habour. The room are modern and...
