The Hawaii has ample parking (a commodity in this part of the world) and we checked in easily. The hotel is very largely made of marble - almost to excess but it is very pretty. They have an awful reel of muzak that plays constantly in the lobby, and the elevator will only hold 3 people. The rooms and the... More

I stayed here with friends who shared another room for one night. the day time staff were excellent, the rooms a little odd and the foyer more like a Mausoleum than a Hotel Foyer - lots of hard white marble everywhere, sounds grand but it isn't. That night i wished to take a guest back to my room and was... More

The location is awsome- You can not ask for anything else. You are in the middle of town and across the water. You have excellent seafood across your room and souvenirs galore around the corner. Everything you need is in walking distance from the hotel. More

This hotel is really a great one for its price and location. And the service received there is always some of the best in my experience in Mexico. I have stayed here 3 or 4 times and I am always impressed by the hospitality and friendliness of the staff. I have stayed at other hotels near the zocalo and the... More

I travelled to Veracruz on a business trip in late September. Our company had recently lowered our travel budget, so I was asked to find a low-cost hotel for my trip. I was pleased to find this hotel listed in the top 10 of Trip Advisor's pick and with a cost of about one third of the other highly rated... More

The English speaking staff were very friendly. The hotel is right on the Malecon (waterfront). You're right downtown for excellent accessibility to everything. Lots of taxis. Plenty of free secure parking. Easy access to the historical sites of Veracruz (and there are plenty). Just a nice hotel in a nice city. More

We arrived in Veracruz and went to hotel Concha Dorada right away because our girlfriend had been there in the past and wanted to say there again. Unfortunately the place was full but I had checked Tripadvisor before our trip and since the reviews for hotel Hawaii were good we walked to that hotel and they had 2 rooms available.... More

For M$1000 I got a single with king size bed on the 7th floor overlooking the Malecon and the harbor. There were windows on two sides (one opening to the balcony). The view was spectacular! It's in the middle of everything and M$220 from/to the airport. The white marble was spotless and the large bathroom was strange but fine (only... More

After a dreadful experience at the Ruiz Milan next door to the Hawaii, we changed hotels and found the difference astounding. The staff at the Hawaii was attentive, capable and did everything they could think of to please their guests. We had the "penthouse" room on the eighth floor with a great view of the malacon and small refrigerator for... More

We came to the Hotel Hawaii because we met a man who recommended the place. Are we ever glad we did! The rates are reasonable, the service by the staff was way over and above the call of duty. Not only did we have very nice and clean rooms, but also free daily newspapers, free coffee, and tea as well... More
