For around $35 per night, the Hotel Regis is a good value. Located just a couple blocks from the Zocalo, it is in a good location. Our room was pretty big, the plumbing worked fine and the staff was helpful and friendly.

We had chosen this place due to the fact it had aircon. We booked in for 2 nights. The room was large and airy with a balcony over the street.
Two large double beds and a single to sleep the three of us. It was 365 pesos a night.
First nite was grand, second day the electric went off upstairs....
