We stayed at the Hyatt the in the middle of March and fortunetly we missed the spring break crowd. The hotel was very very beautiful, as you come in the doors you are greated w/ the most beautiful view of the ocean you can ever see. The rooms are basic, attractive and clean. The staff is very nice and accomodating.... More

We just went there with my family (parents, sister and kids, in laws). The room was good, clean, comfortable and fairly standard, not many frills, though. The time we were there (spring break), while there was a good quantity of people, there weren't many kids, or big groups of college kids, both of those were in reasonable amounts as make... More

We stayed at the Hyatt in March 2012, overall I'd say we were disappointed with the rooms they seemed very basic for a 4-star and the service at reception wasn't great. However the rooms are clean and they had enough space for 3 women sharing a room - though the lighting in the rooms were poor which was rather annoying... More

My husband and I visited the Hyatt Regency again February 29, 2012 through March 5, 2012. This year we used our Hyatt Gold Passport points to upgrade to a Regency Suite. Prior to our arrival I e-mailed concierge to request a specific room I previously viewed on YouTube. Upon arrival, we were immediately escorted to the Regency Club for a... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night before we checked into our resort. I was very beautiful with great service from the check in counter to the bellhops. Our room had and incredible ocean view (actually you could call it ocean front) comfortable beds, lots of fluffy white towels and complementary coffee and water. The lobby... More

Hyatt Regency surprised us during our week-long stay in Cancun. We stay at the Regency Club level and it is highly recommended - the breakfast alone is worth it! The room on the 11th floor was nice and we received 3 visits a day by housekeeping. The palapa we used daily on the beach was a life -saver (I am... More

We booked our first vacation sans children at the Hyatt Regency Cancun because we had enough points for 4 free nights. We stayed in an ocean room king on the 8th floor. The bedding and bathroom were adequate and clean--which was about our only requirement since we were only there to sleep. The beach and outdoor area, pools, etc. were... More

Stayed over Valentine's week for free with Hyatt Gold points. The hotel is nice, fairly modern for it's age and clean. There is a minor order in the rooms at times but it appeared to come from the air conditioning. It was our first time in the hotel zone versus Playa Del Carmen. It was nice to go to restaurants... The hotel is conveniently located, walking distance to everything. When we checked in, we had the Regency Club access which made a huge difference. Pretty much drinks and snacks are well taken care of. The double your resort credit promotion was an incredible deal. We drank and ate like a rich and famous. The food was great too and the... More
