Well where do I start, my family and I live in the Yucatan and travel to Cancun to see friends and family when the come to town. We had stayed at City Express when it first opened and thought it was ok, now a few years later we decided to stay again and it was not even 3 star. The... More

The breakfast is included but they could change the quality and the amount of the food (corn flakes, coffe, bread and some fruits). The air condition in the room was terrible. It turned off every 10 minutes and it didnt start again. They tried to fix it and it was impossible. We asked to change our room the second night... More

My family stayed here overnight before continuing our journey elsewhere. It was clean, though it smelled of bleach in our room. The accomodations are basic but met our expectations, since we only paid about $70 for the room. The experience was perfectly adequate for our purposes, so I give it 4 stars. More

We only spent 2 nights at city express, before our trip to playa del carmen. We chose this hotel because we went on a day trip to isla mujeres, and we got free nights with our credit card points. Basic accomodations, bussines center, continental breakfast, cable TV, AC...etc. there was construction next door and it was annoying, it would have... More

This hotel is great for an overnight stay or for emergency. It is a few minutes bus ride to the touristic area. I had a room on the bottom floor and everything was perfect (very clean, beds were comfy, tv with a lot of channels). The breakfast was more than OK for the price. There is a nice shopping mall... We stayed here for one night before flying out. A "friend" made the reservation and recommendation. The rooms smelled and the floors were dirty and there weren't enough towels. The room was $100 and it was a $40 dollar (20 minutes) cab ride to the airport. You are way better off staying at the Sea-view Cancún Resort for and $150... More

Brand new hotel. We missed our flight leaving Cancun while we were on vacation in Akumal. We had to stay the night in Cancun. Our rental car agent booked us a room here. It is brand new. Clean. Budget-based. Much like a Microtel Inn in the United States. Inexpensive. They provided some toiletries, very prompt service, lots of extra towels... More

This was a mistake. There is nothing near, or at this hotel (unless you want to shop at the mall across the road). The room smelled stale and anyone I dealt with made no attempt to speak the slightest bit of English. I was even unable to get a receipt for the stay. More
