In a two-week cross-country Mexican adventure, Secret Garden literally made our trip. Peaceful and serene, it is a walled oasis fulled with birds, lizards and greenery. Hammocks are hung throughout the courtyard, so you can swing peacefully listening to the birds sing. Our room was clean, comfortable and full of character. My sister and I shared the White Room, a... We spent there 4 nights and it was absolutely perfect! It's close to everything you need: restaurants, bus station, bike/scooter rental, shops. If you want to go to the beach, what you have to do is renting a bike or a scooter. It will be very easy. Rooms are spacious enough, clean and the garden is amazing and really relaxing.... More

Secret Garden is a very sweet place two streets from Avenida Tulum (which is also a highway) but a world away from the hubub. The neighborhood is quiet, and the hotel itself is an island of tranquility. Well maintained, with a jungle hideaway atmosphere. Secret Garden is a place to feel comfortable and at home. Two rows of rooms face... More

The staff here, Maura and Cory, were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and had AC, a fan, and an iPod docking station as well as private bathroom. The other guests were very quiet and kept to themselves, but there was a cute garden patio where you could hang out and chill. The hotel is a few... More

I stayed at the secret garden hotel when in Mexico for some much needed RnR last year. The rooms were nicely furnished but basic (all you need) and very clean. The cabana style rooms were all connected by a lovely central garden which had chairs sofas and hammocks and were a lovely way to relax after a hard day at... More

Secret garden was just a wonderful hotel. Colorful clean rooms, beautiful garden and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. It was such a pleasure to spend the morning in the garden, listening to the birds with morning coffee. A real gem. Can"t wait to go back.
