The views were incredible, the workers friendly and the price was right. I just kind of stumbled on to this hotel. IT is reminiscent of some American National park lodges. The rooms were really tasteful, clean and warm. I wasn't at all impressed bu supper or breakfast. They did pack me up a nice picnic lunch. I think I paid... More

Stayed here for 2 nights during our Honeymoon trip through the Copper Canyon. Stayed in one of the "suites" which, I gather, are slightly bigger than the normal rooms. The hotel itself has a spectacular location with amazing views of the canyon from the rooms, balconies and restaurant. The food was fine for a couple of days and I would... More

This is a great place to rest for a while. There are no phones or TVs in the rooms. The views are breath-taking. We were treated to a margarita upon arrival and everything seemed pleasnant. We were told when meals would be served. Breakfast at 8 lunch at 2 and dinner at 7. There was no meal service outside of... More

Every room has a balcony terrace with a breathtaking view at Posada Mirador. That's the draw. Food was OK, service was OK. Weather was great, with no need for heating or AC, but there were several blankets in the closet. A few minutes' ride from Posada Mirador is Divisidero Barrancas, with a fabulous zip line that stretches out over the... More

Spectacular views. Good Service. Nice rooms with views to die for. The balcony view and verandah views impossible to beat. Was served a piña colada with bad milk and was I'll for several days though. Still I would go back. More

From the moment we arrived on the train at this magical place, we were swept away by the beauty of this canyon. The hotel representative was waiting for us as the train arrived, and we hopped on a bus which took us straight to the hotel. Our bags followed a few minutes later. This hotel is lovely, perched on the... More

We spent one night here and on arrival were greeted warmly by the front reception manager who explained they could accommodate our need for a king bed, quickly took our bags to our room and showed us the various amenities. We also were given a welcome margerita. The room was clean and neat and spacious and the view, amazing despite... More

After spending the previous few nights well off the main tourist track, it was a bit of a shock to arrive at the Posada Mirador and find a full house of cruise ship tourists and other very large groups. That said, the hotel is very comfortable, the food delicious, the service excellent, and the views -- well, they simply cannot... More

We just returned last week from our independent trip to the Copper Canyon. I had placed my room reservations with them directly through their website (I worked w/ Yanira Espinoza who was very helpful and nice). In order to make independent room reservations with them, you will need to do a wire transfer. Luckily they have bank accounts set up... More
