We really enjoyed this place. It's in a lovely setting and the staff are very friendly and keen to help. It is very clean with good quality furnishings and has a warm cosy feel despite the rooms being spacious. The food was also good both for dinner and breakfast - although we would like fresh fruit with breakfast. We paid... More

We booked a dbb package via 5pm for one night. Welcome/check-in was great - really friendly. The room was spacious, with a breathtaking view down Loch Fyne; there is a similar view from the residents' lounge - a real touch of class, with an excellent selection of books (far better than on the 2800 passenger Celebrity Solstice, for instance). Dinner... More

This fine old inn was once owned by the late British diplomat and writer Sir Fitzroy MacLean. We stayed in a large, handsome second floor room with several windows overlooking Loch Fyne. A big residents' lounge next door had comfortable chairs and books and even better views of the lake. Dinner in the bistro featured well-cooked local seafood. Breakfast was... More

I'd been looking for a decent hotel for a 1 night stay but needed to find somewhere that allowed dogs. Creggans Inn is in a wonderful setting across the road from the banks of beautiful Loch Fyne. The only fault I have is with the price. I paid £80pp for b&b with an extra £7.50 for the dog. To be... More

My wife and I just returned from an overnight stay at the Creggans Inn, we would like to thank the owners Archie and Gill, and all the staff who made our stay so comfortable, everyone was so courteous and efficient. The extra effort put in was greatly appreciated by us, it was my wife's birthday and our son in New... More

We ate in the bar, and did not stay overnight, so this review is for the bar meals only. The local scallops were first rate - tender, cooked just right, with a light salad - couldn't fault it! Mains were good, but not to the same standard, and the dessert menu is disappointing. They ran out of the only real... More

We enjoyed a couple of nights in this charming family run hotel .The staff are all local and welcoming . Even during two wild days we felt at home in the comfort of the residents lounge with its magnificent view down Loch Fyne . The loch facing bedrooms enjoy the same glorious view and must be worth the slight extra... More

Had an overnight stay with my hubby. Good food and fabulous views. Great cosy bar with a real fire, tended by two fab bar staff/waitresses. Had a fantastic after dinner companion in the shape of the resident dog Hector. What a wee charmer. =) The only negative was the hard bed (though the view from the room was fantastic) and... More

The hotel is situated on the shores of Loch Fyne, with truly outstanding scenery of both Loch & mountains. It has warmth and character as it is family owned and where you are made really welcome as if you are part of the family.
