We were lucky enough to get back to Jim and Gails at short notice for NYE for a Murder Mystery event. The best NYE both of us have ever had. Jim and Gail were as usual great fun, excellent hosts, and provided amazing company with two guests/friends to share the murder mystery event. Our sixth visit.. and the best yet!!!...

Although we arrived late with our daughter, we received a very warm welcome by Gail and Jim into a guest lounge, with a pot of tea and delicious cake. Myself and my husband stayed in Wren, which is a lovely cosy room. Our daugher stayed in Magpie which is a very spacious single room. Both rooms are spotlessly clean and...

we arrived late at Kentisbury mill but were met by the owners Gail and Jim and was greeted in to a cosy living room for guests and then to our room which was the largest and spacious with a good size en suite.
The breakfast were gorgeous and plentiful with locally produced bacon and sausages which were so tasty with...

I love this part of Devon and am delighted to have stumbled on such a wonderful place to stay. Gail and Jim are such kind and helpful hosts - so thoughtful and went out of their way several times for me (even helping me repack my tent from my previous week's camping!) Breakfast was outstanding and pretty much kept me...

This was a wonderful B&B. It is in a very peaceful, rural location inside wonderful gardens, with chickens and ducks, that is bordered by a stream and then surrounded by typically beautiful north devonshire countryside. Yet close enough to Combe Martin and some wonderful small villages that we explored (that I can't remember the names of) so not to feel...

On arrival at the Mill we were greeted by Jim and Gail our hosts who made the two of us feel very welcome. Jim, without hesitation carried our heavy luggage to our room while Gail provided a welcomed pot of tea and some homemade fruit cake on the patio.
We were then shown to our room (Nuthatch) it was spotless,...

I have stayed at Kentisbury Mill may times now, and there is good reason for my devoted return. The Mill itself is a beautiful 18th century building which has been sympathetically restored yet preserved by the owners, Jim and Gail. The rooms are named after common species of bird that inhabit the vast two acre land surrounding the building, which...

Of course it is wonderful here - that is why we keep going back!! This time we took Steve's mum and dad, who loved it and loved Jim and Gail as much as we do. Food wonderful, rooms exquisite - visiting fox not so great, especially for Jim and Gail's hens..

Gail and Jim are a very friendly couple, who cater for every need. Lovely touches here and there. Breakfast choices excellent, well cooked. Enjoyed our 3 night stay, and will return very soon. Only regret, we could not fit in a cream tea, which are served in the garden. A very comfortable bed which guaranteed a restful night. Nothing too...
