Stayed for a week while my wife worked at the univeristy. Nice rooms, clean, well-furnished. Opens on to the grounds where the heated (yes!) swimming pool is loacated. The breakfast buffet is not free but affordable and is GREAT. (I'm a breakfast person.) We ate there in the evening, too and it was very nice. Have an ATM in the... More

I really liked this city. I stayed at this hotel in a business trip in Mexico and only stayed one night. However, the hotel service was excellent. I came late at night and had to order room service since the restaurant was closed and that was no problem for the food to be excellent. Hotel is in a very convenient... More

Nice place to stay with reasonable room rates. They have recently made improvments on their bilingual front desk staff. They have wireless internet in the old half of the hotel and if you want it, you have to tell them when you check in. I have stayed here at least 12 times and have never been disappointed. The breakfast buffet... More

Aguascalientes is not much of a tourist town, but it was still a charming place to visit. Americans are not a common sight, but the ones you will find are typically in this hotel. Las Trojes is in the affluent northern suburb, across from a Walmart/Sam's Club shopping nexus. The front desk staff usually speaks English, but the rest of... More

The hotel is not near the center of town, not that the center of town is a desirable location. We checked in very late one night and the night clerk insisted on a second form of ID even though my credit card has my photo and printed signature on it. After that, it was off to the room. The room... More

I'll give Las Trojes an excellent rating. It is not a Four Seasons or even close but it is among the best you'd find in a mid-size Mexican city such as Aguascalientes. Las Trojes is a very traditional hotel in a Mexican style construction. It is ample and a solid 4-5 star overall. I stayed in a Master Suite for... More
