Over-nighted here and got one of the last available rooms. We were warned that this room was shower only, which was fine with us. The room is definitely dated with somewhat tired carpet, an old style CRT television and fairly thin walls. Recently stayed one night while cycling the KVR with another couple. We really appreciated the friendly, sparkling clean accommodations. The motel is a simple basic place for anyone on a budget who is looking for good value.

We have stayed at a lot of motels throughout BC with our kids hockey. The Greenwood Evening Star is a pleasant surprise, very good for under $75.00 The rooms are clean and appear to be recently updated. The owners are very nice as well.

Could not make our destination in one shot on our way home from Seattle. My wife and I chose those Motel because it was situated near the edge of town and there would be a lesser chance of anyone disturbing our motorcycles.
