I cannot fault this hotel. Modern, clean, huge rooms, big tvs, nice clean decent sized bathrooms, decent wifi. And location cannot be beaten. I was so happy when we pulled up outside this hotel and seen how nice it was I was even more thrilled when I seen our room. The bed was massive and so comfortable. I'm planning my... More

This hotel is really well located. About 10 mins from town it's easy to walk to everything but a bit out to avoid any noise. Good value. Rooms are very simple but has everything you need. The sink out side the bathroom is a bit werid but you very quickly get used to it. Breakfast was lovely, really lovely food... More

We stayed one night at this hotel in April 2012 (and June 2011). It was extremely good value for money and a good breakfast was included. Room was comfortable and clean. (we had a double beds which was very lovely). The staff were very friendly and helpful :D We were very pleased with the hotel and would have no hesitation... More

We spent a couple nights here at the beginning of May. Had a decent sized room with two double beds and the accomodations were nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. rooms also come with a fridge, coffee maker and free wi-fi. the location is fantastic - no need to move your car again once you're parked as its an easy... My husband and I stayed at the Banff Aspen lodge for 5 nights in April 2012 and enjoyed our stay. The location was very good, only a few minutes walk to the main area of shops and restaurants, but still found it peaceful enough. The outdoor hot tub area was lovely, I really liked the outdoor fireplace beside the small... More

I spent two nights at the Banff Aspen Lodge in April 2012. The hotel did not meet my expectations. For a well reviewed hotel in Banff I was expecting something more. The room I stayed at was triangular-shaped. Was a bit disorienting. No study table, something I've come to expect in all rooms. Was clean and well done otherwise. For some... More

Thank you for your review. The room you booked is our Superior Room; our lead-in room category. It’s unfortunate that the shape of the room was not to your preference. This room is 239 square foot with one queen bed, balcony/patio and is perfect for one or two people. The description of the room and the in-room amenities are listed... More

Loved this lodge! Perfect location on Banff avenue. Great service. Big comfy rooms and comfy beds. Every room has a nice big balcony!! Highlight was definitely the big in ground hot tubs in the middle of the lodge. So relaxing sitting OUTSIDE in those hot tubs by a fireplace as well. Also a decent price, would definitely stay here again! More

I spent 2 nights here in April 2012. For value, this is one of the better properties I've stayed at recently. For $114/night, we had a very clean and quiet room that included wifi, breakfast and parking. I'd highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again on a future trip. Room: A very good size for 2 travelers. The... More

This is our perennial favourite. They offer the best rates during the Banff Film Festival. Free Wifi is included + a decent breakfast in the am. Rooms and facilities are nothing fancy but they have a clean esthetic and the staff has always had a casual laid back and helpful attitude. You are close to downtown and walk anywhere. Parking... I booked Banff Aspen Lodge for an Easter ski weekend this year. The place was booked full on the evening of Good Friday but front desk wasn't backlogged. Everyone was chill and relaxed. Immediately upon arrival, we had a speedy check-in and used the free underground parkade which is locked from 11pm to 6am so we left our ski gear... More
