We stayed here as part of a Canadian Rockies tour. The hotel was very nice. Our room had a balcony and was quite comfortable. The location in town is so convenient to everything. We had dinner twice in their dining room and both times it was quite good. The breakfast buffet is quite extensive. Banff itself is quite a charming... More

We've stayed at this hotel four times in all and haven't been disappointed in any shape or form. It's affordable, clean and v central for eateries and reasonable shopping. There 3 + ski areas nearby and coaches pick up guests from outside the hotel (skiis and all) and deliver you to some of the best skiing in Canada - and... More

First time in a long time I've been to Banff and was told that this was an affordable place to stay. Location wasn't too bad, only a 5 minute walk (if that) to the main drag with all the shops/restaurants. The room we had was quite large (We were given a room with 2 queen beds), and had a sliding... A great choice: close to all the ameneties and on the ski-bus route. Robin, the concierge, is helpful and knowledgeable, and all the staff are friendly. Rooms are well-appointed and the pool is great for easing aching ski-legs. The only downside is that the restaurant is pretty expensive, although good quality. More

We never even got to go for the weekend, cancelled on time to their rediculous demands, and still got charged for part of a night?!?! THIEVES! Have stayed before and won't again, they have their noses way to high in the air. Charge for everything thats free most other places in town. They hate children here too, insulting pool hours... We stayed at the Banff Park Lodge for 2 nights in March and had a pleasant stay. The hotel is a short walk from the main town area of Banff which is full of shopping, restaurants, supermarket, information center (really great for maps/advice) and more. The staff we dealt with were professional and friendly and check-in and out were a... More

Just returned home having spent 11 nights at the Banff Park Lodge. My partner and I where on a Crystal skiing trip to Banff and it was our first time in Canada. The BPL didn't disappoint. The lodge is situated 2 blocks away from Banff avenue, this is a 3 minute walk away but puts you just back enough to be... More

The Banff Park Lodge is located perfectly in the town of Banff for those that want to walk around downtown to galleries, great restaurants, pubs and shops. The rooms are being updated and so have a more current look to them. This isn't Banff's most beautiful hotel, but I would recommend the BPL to anyone who is looking for a... More
