Is close to Banff but not that close, ticked away in the mountains with incredible views! The staff was friendly. My group loved going to the hot water pool even when it was -12oC. Parking is difficult to find if you get there late. Firewood is free.

One of the best places to stay in Banff, it was peaceful, staff were polite and the lodge we stayed in was perfect! We stayed here for week for our honeymoon and staff were very welcoming and gave us some complimentary treats as a congratulations! The lodge was clean and ideal for what we needed. We mostly skied everyday and was easy to drive to sunshine and lake Louise resort from the lodge. Parking was good as we manage to get a space outside our lodge everyday. The roam bus was perfect and getting it from the lodge into banff village was perfect and definitely the way to go as parking in the village gets busy. Buses run pretty frequently and easy to get on from the village back to the lodge. The lodge area was very pretty and the facilities that we could use were brilliant. The outside jacuzzi was amazing and definitely worth doing! We stayed over Christmas and the staff did leave us a little Santa stocking with treats inside which was a lovely touch. Overall I couldn’t fault hidden ridge, the staff were brilliant! Our lodge was cleaned well and fresh towels and coffee was provided. The one negative I have was the fire, as amazing as it was lighting it was very difficult due to the wood being too wet for it light. We even got a member of staff to help light it but still didn’t work.

We stayed in their 3-story villa with a loft and game room and it was spacious for 13 of us. There's pull our sofa bed, fully equiped kitchen, fireplace with free firewood, hot tub and warm pool for those brave people who wants to go swimming in wintertime. The resort is also next to the bus stop so it's convenient. The resort lobby has some really cool views of the snow-covered Canadian Rockies, although hey don't coffee ready , you have to ask for hot water and make you're coffee, and it's the same with hot cocoa. The only thing we complained abt is they didn't have a lot of hot water for showers esp during our first day there, we called and we're glad they fixed it. And they DO NOT have a lot of parking space. We were there in November and the resort was packed so parking you car was a challenge. Other than that, we love this resort and we will definitely go back here again.

Thank you for sharing! I am glad that you found our condos to be spacious and well equipped and that you enjoyed all the amenities the resort has to offer. We do have self-serve coffee ready in the lobby before midday, however after this time it is just upon request at the front desk. I do apologize that it appears there was an issue with the hot water in your condo but glad it was promptly fixed for you! We are delighted to hear that you will be returning and look forward to welcoming you back!

First time staying here- we will be back. We stayed 2 bedroom unit with a loft. Queen beds in every room, tons of room for everybody. The unit was very clean and very quiet with fantastic mountain views. The staff were really helpful. The stay included day passes for Roam, the Banff bus system- it was very convenient with frequent service.

My husband and I stayed here for just one night. We had booked a condo. The units are located in a forested mountain area along with several other motels of the same type. Check-in was very friendly and efficient. Soon after arrival in our unit we noticed a leak in the ceiling after the first more substantial rain fall. After notifying the desk a maintenance man promptly appeared to assess the situation. We were equally promptly and efficiently moved into another unit. We received a bottle of wine for our troubles. Thank you! The unit was clean and very pleasing. Nice view out all windows. Wonderfully quiet all night long. Bring any food supplies you need before heading here. Grocery store is in Banff about 3-4 km down the hill. Some drip coffee packets are provided. If coffee is important to you I strongly suggest you bring your own coffee and filters while shopping in town. This is a nice place to stay in, would stay here again when in Banff.

We had a lovely few nights stay at the Hidden Ridge. Check in was easy, the lodge was beautiful and spacious and the staff were super helpful. We made us of the pools and sauna which were a lovely addition after a day of exploring & the lodge is well connected to the town with a free bus service. Would definitely stay again if we come back to Banff

We enjoyed staying here. We were in a ground floor room with a kitchenette, an open fireplace and a patio door to a small outdoor seating area. Because it’s not in town it’s very peaceful, and there is a free shuttle bus service that runs very regularly in and out of Banff, or you could walk down the hill into town yourself. We did find that some of the room decor was tired. The drawers in the kitchenette were wonky, and some of the wallpaper in the bedroom damaged. This didn’t affect our stay but these things really need to be addressed soon because it risks becoming a bit more run down.

Though called Hidden Ridge Resort, it could aptly be named Hidden Gem for its scenic location, its charming village-like layout complete with hanging flowers, trees and shrubbery, its friendly and accommodating front desk staff, its high standard of cleanliness and daily room service, its in room products from Rocky Mountain Soap Co and its beautiful pool and sauna overlooking the mountains. I had a wonderful 5 night stay and look forward to returning. Attention to detail and serving the resort guest in an understated manner elevated my experience to that of a luxury resort. Thank you for a lovely getaway.

Great apartments, spacious, comfy beds. Well supplied inside. Good location but not in town though free bus passes only a short walk to bus stop. Easy walking into town approx 15-20 mins. However no restaurant at all no bar. A snack and soft drinks machine in laundry common area. Nice hot spa pool and pool with great views outdoor. A nice place to stay.
