Stayed for a night while in town for business. The Chateau Lacombe is a landmark on the bank of the North Saskatchewan River. Given its age, the hotel is in definite need of upgrades and a facelift. The biggest perk is the parkade and direct access to the hotel lobby. Rooms are a nice size and quiet, but bathrooms are... More

Hotel was clean and had quick access to the river valley trails. This was nice to get away from downtown scene if only briefly for a trail run. Buffet breakfast was included in our rate and was simple but satisfying. LRT station is one block away. More

I stay here regularly when in Edmonton. I have mixed opinions. Rooms are fine - some aer a bit tired and ion need of refurb. Some Baths have coating on them which is peeling. Room cleaning could be better - I occasionally find areas which haven't been cleaned. Reception/lobby looks like it's trying to be grander than it is -... More

My parents recently stayed at this hotel because it was part of a tourist package for their senior's group visiting from Hong Kong. Their English is not good and I feel that the hotel took advantage of them by placing them in un-renovated rooms and the heat was unbearable because of the old heating system in the hotel. Their room... More

I stayed here for 4 nights in April 2012. It was a weathered room, bathtub was scary, old dingy room, long black hairs on floor and stuck to hair dryer,. I was so disgusted with my room that I was afraid to eat at their restaurant. I was on the 12th floor and the ice maker was extremely loud. I... More

We booked this hotel for weekend of Apr 20-22. Hotel room was dirty, they upgrated us to a suite to find out its not clean. I found 10 hairs in bed. Wall was dirty from someone splashing a drink all over. After those two things I didn't look for more however we called someone to come up and review the... More

Was there last month and my car was broken into for the second time. The young lady at the front desk informed me that there are NO SECURITY cameras anywhere in the parkade and that the night security guard (when there is one) doesn't make regular rounds fo the parking lot. Last break in was during the holidays. The 13... More

Went to Edmonton on a two day business trip visiting Canada Place on Jasper Avenue. Tried to book at the Marriott across the street but was fully booked. Went with the less expensive Chateau lacombe just down the street. Lived in Edmonton but never stayed there. Wasn't expecting great things but when we arrived I was surprisingly impressed. the round... More

8 Min walk to the Shaw Conference Center so close for the venue. Reasonable rates, clean rooms. The revolving La Ronde Revolving Restaurant is a treat, great food/service...bit pricy but worth it. Nice place to eat at night and get 360 views of Edmonton and area. Good room upgrades for PCR Platinum members. More
