My wife and I travel with our small dog and this is a pet friendly hotel near our daughter’s house we can stay at. I made my reservation online and chose the “cars stay free” option as it was the same price as a regular room but included a $25.00 Esso gas card. Since we have the dog we are... More

Good hotel for the price although not a great neighbourhood (not the worst neighbourhood in Edmonton though). Central/North location was convenient. In-room amenites include the usual soap and shampoo and also mouthwash and lip balm and a shoe horn - all nice touches. One note: ask for a room not too close to elevators (hallway doors are loud opening and... More

We were looking for a hotel during family day long weekend and this one had a family suite with a separate room with bunk beds. The layout was okay but the room was in disrepair. Bunks were falling apart. Dirty stained floors. Blood stains in sheets. Tv is ancient and kids room tv was very fuzzy with cords streamed across... More

The reviewer is correct the second floor was at one time a smoking floor. We have looked into their concerns and disagree that the bunk beds are in poor shape or that there is blood on the sheets. We do agree that our current TV's are dated and they will be replaced this year as part of our room rejuvenation... More

This seems to be the only hotel in this part of Edmonton so rather than drive all over decided to try this hotel out despite some of the poor experiences by other travellers and warning by relatives in Edmonton. I don't know if this is new management but I was pleasantly surprised. The receptionist checked me in with no delay... More

The writer is correct, we do not have a complimentary business centre as there was insufficient space left when the hotel was redeveloped. We do have an affordable internet kiosk in the lobby, $ 2.00 for 5 minutes, $ 5. 00 for 10 Minutes. The hotel has complimentary hard wired internet ( limitied number) and WiFi throughout. More

I stayed two nights at the Rosslyn in Mar 2010. It was recommended due to its proximity to CFB Edmonton, in the north end, where I was attending a conference. Having read the previous reviews, I was a little concerned, but everything turned out just fine. I gathered from my military colleagues that this hotel had a bad reputation in... More

Very comfortable beds. Food was great, room service was fast, prices excellent. Remember, this is a brand new hotel (tower) and restaurant. I read all the previous reports and was cautious. Upon entering the entrance I was immediately impressed. The entire complex was spotless. I could not find anything wrong as hard as I tried to look. The staff was... More

I recently stayed at the Rosslyn Inn and Suites and I must say, my stay was a very good experiance. The property was clean, the front desk staff pleasent, and the guest room was excellent. Even the room attendents greeted you with a warm smile and a 'good morning' greeting which is a stong indicator to me, that this is... More

Every single business trip to this hotel has been terrible. The best room is average at best, and don't even get me started on the 2nd floor.. The front desk will always try to put you on the 2nd floor ( Old wing ). The entire hotel smells like smoke, but you can't even stand it on the 2nd floor.... More

Stayed on the second floor of the OLD wing. They wouldn't move us, stating there was nothing availlible, meanwhile people behind us in the 'same' line were given what we were asking for. Rooms are small and limited in features, such as table and chairs to simply sit and watch TV with a friend. TV s are out of focus... More

We attempted to upgrade several guests from this group, unfortunately we had 3 large groups in house. We did relocate as many members of the group in question as we could. We attempted to make their stay more comfortable, we offered them personal compensation even though they were not paying for the room. With every attempt we made to appease... More

I stayed here on a very chilly night in January 09. I paid $143CDN for a room with a queen bed in a non-smoking section on the second floor. Knowing what I know now, I would not stay here again and would go to the Super 8 next time. The room was pretty basic, which I don't mind. However, the... More

It appears that this guest paid the rack rate. We do extend alternate rates for corporate travelers, members of AAA etc. who can provide the required identification at check-in. More
