We stayed here March 28-31/13. It was in the part of town we wanted, close to a major casino, on a major highway route, easy to get places from there. They have also done alot of renovations to the place making it look much better than it used to - the lobby is now quite nice and the rooms aren't... More

Hi everyone. Checked in at 2330 hrs on a Friday night, so finding another hotel would be difficult. We settled for the Yellowhead inn based on availability and price ($99 for two nights+$50 deposit). The first room we were checked into was not cleaned: found beer cans, beds were unmade. We were given another room across the hall which was... More

We stayed here in Feb. 2013 - the lobby area was undergoing renovations but who cares when the rooms are clean and the staff friendly. The location right off the main highway is so handy, plus it's very easy to get to major attractions like the Science Centre and West Edmonton Mall. If you're looking for a clean, safe, affordable... We like to travel and this one was the worst hotel we ever been in. Dirty, bad smell, not vacuumed, the bad was falling apart, heather did't work, one fork, one glass, two plates and you call that "Room with Kitchenette" ??? When we checked in around 6 p.m. was a garbage bag in hallway from previos room(a few doors... More

Wow, this place has two definite personalities! The hotel has a working (old) part where truckers like me feel at home and also an impressive new and spiffy addition for business travelers or families. It's got a huge parking lot, perfect for a rest stop or layover for the trucking industry. For travelers and tourists the West Edmonton Mall is... More

I bought two deal vouchers for $50 a night stays in the loft rooms and had to change rooms once because the heater was falling apart and it looked as though they had not vacummned the room in months. The next room was no better. Heater did not work at all, constant drip of tap in kitchen, unidentified crust stuff... More

The Yellowhead Inn is cheap. Which to me means that the furnishings would probably be dated, the hotel a little worn out, but doable. The truth is this is a complete hole and awful in every possible way. I booked my room a week in advance. When we arrived they didn't have the reservation. The front counter guy assured me... More

Noisy hallway, large dog barking & howling every night and someone pulled the fire alarm. No microwave or alarm clock. TV on the flr. Sleazy people/hookers hanging around lobby. If... More
