The cabins are centrally located close to town with other cabins, lodges and hotels surrounding Bear Hill. The advantage of Bear Hill Lodge, is that it backs onto the bushy reserve and gives a sense of peace and privacy around the cabins. The cabins are well stocked with crockery, cutlery, cooking equipment and even tea towels and washing detergent. The... More

My best friend and I stayed for 3 nights in a Chalet Studio cabin. We were in love with it's rustic charm as soon as we walked in. We found the beds a bit hard but that is something very personal so they might be perfect for the next person. The kitchen was well stocked with place settings for 6,... More

Not on the main road but still close to everything. Jasper's a very small town anyway and it's easy to walk everywhere. The breakfasts were great! Warm muffins, freshly baked every morning! There was adequate parking for guests and staff were very helpful and knowledgeable when you needed directions or assistance. You could tell that the linens were clean and... More

Just got home from visiting Jasper with 12 of my friends. We all stayed at the Bear Hill lodge, 5 of us rented the Delux Chalet and it was perfect for everyone to hang out in at night, more than enough room for 5 of us to sleep. the other ladies rented the smaller cabins and loved the cozy feel.... We stayed two nights in the chalet studio. We loved it. It was clean and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The room was stocked with more than we had expected and we really enjoyed the fire place. There were elk and deer in the back yard. We were looking for a quiet place to rest for a couple days and... I stayed for one night here in April 2013. The location is very good close to all amenities The staff were very friendly and helpful. The cabin was spotlessly clean and tidy with a lovely bathroom. The log fire was wonderful and warm and there was no noise at all! It was very snowy and beautiful and all of the... More

All accommodation in Jasper is expensive, but we found this place to be reasonable priced, and we were very happy with our 3 nights stay. The room was quite basic, but still good enough, and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was good, especially if you appreciate pastries right from the oven. The location is good, with the city within... More

My wife, my teenage daughter and I arrived at our room on Friday night. A long burning log was waiting in our beautiful fireplace. We skied all day Saturday and were very pleased to return to our clean and cozy room. The beds are not the most comfortable and some of the fixtures are inexpensive, but so was the room.... More

Nice place. Easy to find. Helpful staff. Clean lodging. Very good kitchen. Great way to save money, eat at home, prepare sandwiches etc for the next day. And sit in front of the fireplace and have a glass of wine. And Elk right out our patio door. Excellent.

A pretty hotel with individual log cabin cottages equipped with fireplaces that felt like staying in a national park property although within the limits of Jasper town. Reasonable rates, clean, good service, lovely location. Clean, crisp air, and lots of outdoor activities within driving distance. Top ones for us were Maligne Canyon and the Valley of the Five Lakes.
