Great check in and lovely room but insulted by the paper plates and plastic cutlery at breakfast. In fact the whole of " continental" breakfast was a joke. You would have been better off making it room only and not insulting me. No milk served with tea or coffee. We would have cried if we didn't laugh!

This hotel was conveniently located near the highway and all necessary stores. The bed was comfortable which is important for me! We stayed at The Thompson for our boys Hockey tournament in early April and booked the family suite ( King - Queen - Queen). The room was a good size, with a new LG LCD TV, Fridge and Microwave. The Hotel met all of our needs, top marks for staff. The hotel was unfortunately under renovations which is nice to see, but they should be compensating their guests for the various inconveniences. Great location.
