The staff and surroundings are fantastic although the main hotel rooms could do with a little TLC investment. If you look beyond this, it is a real Canadian experience and total relaxation. Food is very good and extremely good value. More

This could be an amazing place, the location is stunning, however, cabin No4 we were put in was disgustingly dirty, I couldnt sleep, sat on sofer (covered it first) all night. Broken window, broken fireplace, exposed wires and I've never seen so many cobwebs in my life, so big there is no way anyone could miss them cleaning and dust... More

The location of this place is great and the owners have set things up so that lots of birds are attracted to the locality. The people who run the place are really friendly. The reception and public areas ooze character and rustic charm. Unfortunately this deteriorates into shabbiness, dust and functional problems when it comes to the bedrooms. (In our... More

This was the last of seven hotels during an 11-day bus tour of the Canadian Rockies and a delightful way to end the trip. The food was incomparable -- dinner, desserts; breakfast, buffet. The chef is a champ. The staff --and the owner -- couldn't have been more pleasant and engaging. It is an old place with creaking door and... More

Our group of 29 had been travelling for three weeks and Lac Le Jeune was a welcome respite. Everyone relaxed, there was no shopping, no anything just nature in all it's glory and this was exactly what we needed. Birds every where, beavers and squirrels had us all out with our cameras. The lake was like glass, just stunning. Our... More

Stayed here just one night as part of a Trafalgar tour, everybody loved this place, all 51 of us ! Just magical, no TV`s great ! No phone in room ! Even better !!! Wonderful atmosphere, Wally and Elaine and the owner are great people and made us so welcome. This was a dream place for me, so I didn`t... More

This hotel was the perfect stop over on the long drive from Whistler to Jasper Most people stay overnight in the rather dingy town of Kamloops which has nothing going for it other than it's geographic location. Lac Le Jeune is a bit off the beaten track but well worth the extra milage Located off the main drag up a... More

We stayed for 2 nights in one of the cabins. It was very cold and frosty but the heaters in each room together with the gas fire ensured that we were not cold. The cabin was clean and roomy, if somewhat dated in style. There was a large fridge and cooker so self-catering would have been possible had we chosen... More

We stayed at the Lac le Jeune hotel for one night as part of a tour package. We had a reasonably sized room on the top floor which was clean but quite basic. As advertised, the rooms do not have TV, radio, coffee maker, fridge, etc. The bathroom was small but adequate. The view of the lake was pleasant. The... More

Resort is in a lovely, tranquil setting, but the building itself leaves much to be desired. There is no elevator, nor are there any guest rooms on the main floor, so you have to either walk up or down a flight of stairs to get to your room. This can be very difficult for many older people. Rooms themselves are... More
